Cape Point, Cape Point Hotel

From experience I would charge everything to the room. This makes sure you are paying consistently the same price! Everything is cheap by UK standards.

Overall, the experience was amazing. We went on a trip round the local schools and towns and it was fabulous. The Gambia is not called the smiling coast for nothing. If you go to the back streets, the people are friendly and generally leave you alone. The children were amazing. They just want bottles to put palm wine etc in and sell. They were brilliant. The Ocean Bay hotel was very clean and well maintained. Occasional power outages but it's The Gambia, you can't have everything. If you get the chance to go, go!
