Very Clean, Very Quiet, Very Nice Pool

The apartments were really nice, and I would recommend it to familys with kids. If you want to avoid the noise of Paphos night life this is the perfect place to stay. The staff was really friendly and helpful. And apartment are equipped with good air conditioners and make a perfect hiding place from the afternoon heat. The pool is really beautiful, but the whirlpool is not that enjoyable. The supermarket and beaches are only a 10 to 15 minute walk away.

First impressions were good, great food. No disturbance, relaxing + nice people! Thinking of coming again! :)

We also loved dolly the donkey! I think that this holiday was super! It was relaxing. and good fun. The music wasn't too loud but it was just loud enough so we could hear it relaxingly :)

I gave it a 9/10 because it was a fabulous holiday but that one waiter gave away the 10/10.

My Partner And I Have Been Back Home For A Day, An

My partner and I have been back home for a day, and we are already missing Cyprus! We had a fantastic time at the Pagona Hotel Apartments in Pahphos. It was just a shame we weren't there for two weeks.

You could not fault the place. The apartments, the pool area and the jacuzzi were spot on, and the staff at the Pagona were fantastic! Nothing was any trouble to them, and they were all lovely and friendly people. The Pagona is situated in a great place, and it is not too far away from the attractions of Paphos, but away enough to be beautifully peaceful with its own private road and parking away from everything.

It's around a 5-minute walk to the bars and restaurants, and around a 10-minute walk, if that to the harbour. I would seriously suggest that you go to eat in Brazilla and the Imperial Chinese restaurant, and also Agipinon, as the service was excellent. We never had a bad meal in any of the restaurants, and all of them had great tasting food with big portions, and the service in all of the bars and restaurants was second-to-none. Everyone is so polite and kind!

I would defiantly go to the resort again. It's just right for couples and families, as there is plenty to do and you can do the quiet relaxed holiday or the fun holiday, as Paphos is for all the family.

There is said to be lots of timeshares about, but I never saw one once while in Cyprus!

Just be aware that the Cypriot pound is stronger than our pound, so it is expensive in Cyprus, as we got told that our pound is 70p in Cyprus money at the post office, so we spent quite a bit of money, but we had a fantastic time which is the main thing.

Next time we will book direct with Pagona, and we wish we did the first time around, and not through Libra, as they were appalling. It's the second holiday we have been on with them, and the resort and apartments have been fantastic, but Libra have been completely the opposite. There was a 9 hour delay, and our rep left us at the airport and spoke to people like something she had trodden in, but we never let it bother us, as the place was excellent, and it was the best holiday I have had so far.

We will be back to the Pagona and Cyprus again next year, and hope it will be as fantastic as it has been this time around.

After Having Been On Holiday To Pagona Over The La

After having been on holiday to Pagona over the last 5 Years, on at least 8 occasions along with our, now 15 year old son and meeting the same, ever enlarging, circle of friends, we base the above both on our experiences, and that of the reactions of our friends and other patrons reactions.

Thanks To All The Staff At Pagona Me And My Family

Thanks to all the staff at Pagona me and my family have had 8 fantastic holidays in Paphos. Having had bad experiences with travel reps we book direct its more convenient and who needs reps any way... Me and my husband got married 2 years ago(Aug 04) when staying at Pagona, Andreas was our best man and the family made our day the best possible. Having made room for 30+ guest direct they even went out of their way to feed us all after the wedding at the town hall. The rooms are spacious, well maintained and having air conditioning in both rooms is an added bounus. The Pagona is undergoing changes this winter with a new pool, bar and restaurant and we have already provisionally booked for next year. I'm sure I can speak for all the families we meet out there every year you cant beat a holiday at Pagona.

Pagona Hotel Apartments - Reading The Above Review

Pagona Hotel Apartments - Reading the above review, I wonder if I have been staying at a different apartment block (end of Aug / beginning of Sept). Granted the Pagona is situated close to all amenities, but that's really the main (if only) plus point. On the flip-side, the Pagona apartments are approached from a very busy main road, which not only takes some getting used to crossing, but (according to other guests) also makes those apartments close to it very noisy. Our apartment faced the swimming pool and bar, which was equally noisy for other reasons. The swimming pool was monopolised by a few British families (and I'm British myself, before anyone has a moan) who stayed in the pool from dawn till dusk bouncing about on lilos and thwacking water-wings as loudly as they could. At this time of year, the Pagona seems busy with families, therefore isn't particularly quiet, and thus not suitable for someone like me who wanted somewhere to unwind. Added to this, the pool bar belches out a thumping mixture of club / pop / rock music from early morning to late night, meaning that the afternoon siesta requires windows to be shut, and therefore the optional extra of air-conditioning to be purchased at Y£3 a day. Talking of air conditioning, ours leaked constantly for four days until the second repair visit. Turning finally to the cleanliness of the rooms, generally speaking the standard is ok. The bathroom was pokey and dark, and I wouldn't have eaten my lunch off the floor, but it wasn't that bad. However, despite subsequently being booted out on the final day at 12pm, when we originally checked-in at 4.30pm, they had still not finished cleaning our room. In addition, it was confirmed that fresh sheets and towels are only provided every five-days, which isn't really acceptable given the heat.

I am booked into the Pagona apt's later this year and from the reviews I have read I am really looking forward to it, if this user wanted a palatial room perhaps he should not have chosen somewhere from the lower end of the price range. And as for people making a noise in the swimming pool maybe an adult only hotel/apartment would have been a better choice. Kids like to have fun and I think that keeps older people young too.

I have visited Pagona apartments for the last 2 years and have loved every minute of it. Im afraid that although i completely respect your views and opinions but i, myself must dissagree. i found that the pool area was completely sastisfactory, and there was no music at all being played. Our rooms were lovely and cool all though the day and they were cleaned out approximately every 3 days. I loved every minute and i am going back this october to enjoy another satisfactory stay at the pagona apartments.

The Pagona Hotel Comes Very Highly Recommended, Af

The Pagona Hotel comes very highly recommended, after years of travelling to a different place every year and my father being unable to understand why people would go back to the same place every year and not want to see more of the world. How his mind changed!! I have now been to Pagona hotel 4 times, my parents have been 5, have have just booked their 6th trip. Everything at Pagona is perfect, and 99% of people who stay there go back. Last year i went to a wedding out there while on holiday of a couple who i first met out there when i was 14 and always book at the same time as us. My parents will be there again at the same time as them this year to celebrate their wedding anniversay. Everyone cries when they leave, i was still crying when i reached the airport! Stavros, Georgia, Chris, Andreas, and Neafodos are the nicest people you'll ever meet, you'll feel like part of the family!! By far the best holiday you'll ever have and i guarentee you'll have to keep going back. When we reach the pool there are always people shouting hello and each year another family joins in. I recommend booking direct as it works out a lot cheaper, we saved almost 50% doing it this way, plus it means stavros and georgia earn more profits and take away business from the holiday reps (always good!!) The holiday reps there are an excess, with stavros, georgia and the boys, not to mention all the people who go there every year you will not need them at all!! Oh yes, one more thing - it's hot, beautiful, the food is amazing, the alcohol cheap and the sun always shines!!

I have recently returned from paphos, and we stayed at the pagona hotel.

We found that this was the best appartment we stayed in for a while. The apartments were always very clean.

The best thing was where it was situated just a few minutes walk from the main town, and also the nightlife.

The staff here are unbelievably friendly and make you feel right at home. I couldnt ask for a better place to stay.

Also drink and food is very cheap and very tasty.
