Very poor radio casing. The main problems with some modern radios is the manufacturers have chosen to coat them with a special surface. initially this feels nice to touch, rather matt. However after time this coating deteriorates leaving a very sticky surface. This gets worse if you try to clean with soap and water or any other cleaning material. The only reason manufacturers can possible have fro this is so that the item becomes useless to the owner forcing them to buy another item. I note… Read Full Review

I have had a Pure One radio for some 5 years and I have been very happy with it. Last week it stopped working. After having no luck searching the internet to see if I could identify the problem and a possible fix, I e-mailed Pure's Customer Support with details of the symptoms. Within a day, a Customer Support Analyst e-mailed back diagnosing a faulty power supply unit and offering to send a free replacement. The replacement PSU arrived today and the radio is back in full working… Read Full Review

The battery lasts a respectable time but they do take about 24 hours to recharge and bizarrely have to be in an environment that is above 21 degrees centigrade when doing so or they do not charge.

Another weakness is the operation of the…

It would be great if it was more sturdy and reliable.I've had two of Pure One DAB Radios and both broke within one year.
Very disappointing in this respect and certainly not sturdy enough for busy family life where radios are not always treated kindly.
The second one got knocked over just fell on its side)and knocked the tuning knob out of position so now it is difficult to move the knob easily… Read Full Review
