Great nippy small car keeps up well with modern traffic. Very well equiped good boot space very refined inside nice driving position one thing that was a pain is locating replacement parts as they are getting quite rare now but dont let this put you of as they hardly ever go wrong and if they do most main dealers still carry parts. over all brilliant car was ashame i wrote mine off… Read Full Review

The Daihatsu Charade 1.0 SE is a weird but wonderful little city car. More economical than a Prius, yet beats anything over thirty yards, which is very handy in town! Also, Tardis-like inside. I am 6 feet 6 inches and cannot even get in a Beetle, but this gives me bags of head and legroom. Last but not least, mine has never gone wrong… Read Full Review

This Daihatsu Charade 1000cc Charade car is a total steal! OK, it has problems but then I challenge any person to find one that doesn't! The ride is smooth and comfortable. This car is probably one of the quickest on the road up to 40mph (I took on and beat a 2l Vectra off the lights the other day) and I have hit 115mph in it (slight slope on motorway), but it cruises happily at 80mph.
I think my biggest disappointment was the sound quality of the standard head unit. The speakers are weedy…
