Hello i bought this a couple of years bk I paid 350 from argos it didnt take that long to set up but is the worst thing ive been on what a waste of the pec comes with little slide on grips witch dont work because but them on set the bench to 80kg and the flew of in the middle my setwripping my hand strings couldnt trainj for a week the bench is fijity the the leg press sticks the only thing good about it was the pull down. Tip do not buy and multigyms like this the only good ones are the one you pay 500 and upwards for because there built prople not cheaply made rubbis stay away from this product. I recommend buying a barbell bench a decent one olympic or midwith and weight set youl get alot better workout with free weights and get bigger but dont buy that closed in cheap rubbish youl regrit and never use it.

For the price a good alternative to the gym. When I first had it i was more than pleased and still would be if my gym had not put in Technogym equipement. (this is computerised and gives good feedback - total weight lifted/reps etc). However that costs thousands of pounds compared to the York. So overall still an excellent back-up for when I cannot make it to the gym.

I really like the York 2002 Multigym, i can do a whole "proper" workout without leaving my house. It doesnt take up much room and you can do pretty much everything you can do in the gym.

Having had the York Multi-Gym for 3 years it's time to move on for me. I have got to the stage I only use the upper pulley exercises and leg extension occasionally. In hindsight I wish I had put my money into the decent bench, power rack and olympic weights I have now.
Let's face it just look at fitness web sites, you can't buy decent single exercise machines as cheap as this unit and that should have been the pointer for me.

Unfortunately, my friends are useless so i have to do a lot of training by myself in a storage unit i rent. I used to have free weights and use them, not safe at all when you're by yourself! I wanted to build muscle mass so needed to decrease my reps and increase the amount of weight i was lifting so i bought a York 2002 Multigym as resistance weights are nice and safe. I'm really pleased with it so far, i've managed to develop a good regime and can use this for most of the muscle groups i wanted to work on, well except for doing squats. Highly recommended.
