Just bought a second new car, 10 years after the first, from new-car-discounts. The service was perfect both times. Queries and worries dealt with promptly and efficiently. Sourced me a new car in hours when my ordered Nissan was delayed for two months. Delivery was perfectly to time and the delivery driver was helpful and friendly. Great people to do business with. And you get to save money!

They were fantastic throughout the process. No fault of NCD but the car (like most) took a lot longer to arrive than expected but they kept me informed throughout. Extremely rapid replies on email and a very professional service. Got a great discount on the car. I cannot recommend this broker enough.

This was the second time I have purchased a new car from this company and on both occasions everything went smoothly and any queries etc were always responded to the same day and often within the hour.

Put my £500 deposit down in April 2022. Had to swap cars as chip shortages with the Hyandai I chose. Swapped to an MG. Finally arrived in early October. I dealt with an advisor at New Car Discount. He couldn't have been more patient. Always phoned me back the same day, when I called and he wasn't available. Very transparent about supply difficulties and delievery targets. I made good savings on the car. It arrived in good time. Had a granny cable and official, floor mats, both of which I had been led to believe from the MG forums where not usually included. I'm very happy and recommend them completely.

He got me the car I wanted, faster and cheaper than anyone else, and provided constant superb service. I would now never even consider using another company. I bought a Nissan Qashqai, the Tekna+, Nissan UK were pretty useless, most dealers were fairly indifferent, he was really helpful. I could not recommend him highly enough. Don't waste your time phoning around, just go to this company! He runs his business like I ran mine - provide better than expected customer service and your customers will love you.

I already owned a similar car and so was familiar with the brand,. I did research main dealer sites and contacted a number of local garages to get their best prices. I also did some checking on New Car discount, as I was not familiar with them. The site is easy to use and in my case, the discount on a new Skoda Octavia was impressive. In my case, despite the time taken to deliver, the price agreed was met. My account manger was very efficient and professional and made the whole process easy. This was just as well, as it took over 12 months for the car to be bult and delivered. He answered my progress emails by return and never gave me false information (or hope!). The delivery was well handled and I am pleased that I used this company.

Took delivery today of my new Seat Ateca ordered last year on a 20 week lead time. Despite ongoing problems with chips the car arrived on time and no problem delaying registration for a couple of weeks for new 22 plate. The whole process has been straightforward, smooth and easy. I initially spoke to a staff member who followed through with me by email. My emails were answered the same day, usually within a few minutes. Excellent discount. Totally recommend this company and would use again in future.

I ordered a new Volvo XC60 September 2022 for March 2022 delivery. Over 5 months later they informed me the car I ordered was not going to be supplied. Following my query with Volvo UK, they requested the dealers order number, then order could then be tracked through their system. They informed me they could not provide the order number or the dealer details. Over the 5 months since my order was placed the price of the car has increased substantially with limited availability, leaving me without the car and potentially substantially out of pocket. New Car Discounts prices may look attractive, however following my experience I would not recommend ordering a car from them.

Hi, we too are unhappy about this situation with the particular Volvo dealer we used. As you say there has been a significant price increase on that vehicle since your point of order and we agree with both you and Volvo UK regarding their suspicions that the dealer in question may have sold it to another third party at the now significantly higher list price. We understand that Volvo UK are investigating this case for you which will hopefully bring about a positive resolution. Fortunately for us, we made a business decision to stop supplying Volvo cars (ironically immediately after taking yours the final order) given the ongoing protracted lead times on our other existing Volvo orders at that time.

Just had my new Seat delivered. Top service from the moment I ordered the car. All staff very courteous and responsive. Messages and emails were forwarded and replied to promptly. Was kept informed of progress at all times. Car arrived fairly within due date despite issues at the manufacturers. Would definitely recommend the company. Kishor B

My first reaction was oooooooomygosh :):):) I love love love love it. I have never seen my car face to face due to distance, expect through the website so i was anxious about the whole experience, but I had confident with the way they spoke to me at the company. Especially from the first time I spoke to the company- till the first time I got my car absolutely amazing service. --Customer service 100% --communication 100% sometime i will keep asking questions especially when I don't know certain things, they kept explaining to me till I get it lol --Delivery 100% Honestly I can go on and on but as a first timer I sincerely love my whole experience and I would recommend anyone reading this to go ahead with it once you certain. I honestly have no regret and I will shop from them again and I would recommend this company to my friends and family. I admit slightly apprehensive at first but the adviser was so professional, helpful, with 100% accurate help and advice, soon changed my mind. car costs £30k, a user pays £27k. If they sell this car for sale at £27k
(£0 discount) they claim a saving of £3k or 10% savings. Everyone got 3k
via a government grant. So, what exactly is the saving by going via
them? Zero. The person I spoke advertised a £3k saving and refused to
change his incorrect figures.
It is my view the staff member's attitude was rude and he sent me
unwarranted emails stating they have not yet heard from trading
standards yet and admitted he stated:
" I ll [sic] leave with you now so no more responses from us. Thanks for
all the fun today".
Yet, he did send an unsolicited email later.
He stated: "You are nt [sic] a dealer ? Then why would you bother with
all this pantomime ?/"
He also stated: "I bet you are a barrel of laughs aren't you".
He also stated, "no one is mad enough to spend ?33k [sic] on a electric
Nero , or maybe there's one."
I found these statements very rude and unprofessional.
No demand was made to remove electric cars from his website.
He was told to be
clear on savings he actually provided and not to include government grants.
The government grant is not a saving he provides.
He did not realise many cars do still qualify for the £2500 grant after
the reduction from £3000.
He falsely claims I am a dealer. Why would I be a dealer and why would I
be disgruntled?
One morning, he sent me an email that he has not yet heard from Trading
Standards.
He takes no responsibility for his behaviour.
He does not appear to want to accept the £3k grant is not a saving he
can attribute to buying through him.
It simply reduces the price for everyone. He implies people get a higher
saving that reality.
He does not appear to want to specify the actual extra saving when
buying via him.
I believe this is what a buyer wants to know.
He does not want to be told he saves 10% when the 10% is available to
all buying
from any dealer, as it is a government grant.
He is director of Auto Union Finance, which is the company name of
New-Car-Discount (check website). It uses two numbers: a 01 number and
an expensive 0844 number (he claims for dealers) only.
I believe professional companies do not ever use high cost 0844 numbers
at all
when 030 numbers are available, even for dealers.
The company changed from plc to a Ltd Company and Companies House.
It of interest he admits "We don't sell any electric cars to be honest
as they are all £10000 over priced".
It is worrying he claimed that a pre-registered car is worth the same as
a new car.
He stated, "pay for a glasses [sic] guide report on your current car and
see if the value is different if you put one registered
keeper if two."
There are not many people who would agree a pre-registered car sold to
someone has the same value as a brand new
first registered car. Which insurance companies will replace a car for
new one if written off if it were a second user car?
My advice is not to deal with this company.

Regarding the reference to blackmail you said, and I quote "shall I refer your company to trading standards or will you change your false advertising"? That sounds like an ultimatum to me.
So, thanks for your tips on how to run our business (which has been trading successfully since 1993 and has sold over 75,000 vehicles in that period) but we will not unfortunately be taking you up on your offer given the content of your review added to the fact that it is riddled with very poor syntax and grammar with many errors and misinformation and is factually incorrect.
For clarity, this £3000 subsidy when added to our additional new car discount is simply added together and expressed on our website as "you save".
As an example, this Nissan leaf offer below clearly shows a customer they can buy the car for £22,348 which is a saving of £7,497 off Nissan's list price .
Regardless of how the vehicle's total saving is made up, in our experience a customer is only ever interested in how much they would have to part with to take ownership.
You propose that we should advertise this car at £25,348 and then indicate somewhere else a further £3,000 subsidy but we feel that this would be confusing to a normal customer. Either way we would still arrive at our on the road price of £22,348 so we don’t see your marketing logic - sorry about that. There is no contact number for you to explain further or discuss your concerns?
Please don't hide behind an anonymous email and instead why not call me on 01925 ... as we have no 0844 numbers here at new-car-discount.com as you also mistakenly assert.

Despite being recommended this company by a work colleague I was anxious regarding the legality and if the company was genuine. I explored multiple other reviews. In addition I sent emails to the company to gather as much information as possible. They answered patiently and swiftly. They kept me up to date with the progress and the car was delivered on the planned date and time by a very friendly driver. Impressed and would recommend.

This was my first foray into on-line car purchase and it couldn't have been easier. I knew which car I wanted and from then on everything was done from my laptop. The service from New Car Discount via Parkers was totally efficient and I have no hesitation in recommending them. The discount they managed to achieve was exceptional and the car delivered to my door with minimum fuss. I wish that I had known about them for previous purchases.

I kept coming back to this company's website. The concept of buying a brand new car on the internet must be a huge risk. Or is it? My contact was very professional. He was also very patient with me. It took me some time to decide starting at the beginning of July 2020. I liked the car, I liked the contact, what to do. As this was the internet and there would be a lot of money involved, I was a cash purchaser, I checked everything I could. The site was secure and the company was registered. I took the plunge. I am glad I did. The delivery of my Kadjar was going to be in three weeks. It would be invoiced the day before. Yes and yes. Delivery was on time, late September 2020. The car was in good order and looked better in the flesh. In fact it looked sexy. The invoice arrived the day before, which is the time the vehicle has to be paid for, showing a nil balance. If you are in doubt about buying off the internet I would not go anywhere else. No need to as I have done all the checks for you. The only thing you will have to do is choose a colour of the car of your choice. Good car hunting.
