“Failed to deliver as "no parking mate"”

They tried twice to deliver a washing machine (with delivery and installation paid for). Although when ordering (through ao.com) it clearly stated that any extra charges incurred to access my post code and to deliver at my door will be reflected in the basket at check-out, on their first attempt the driver called me to go outside, to find a parking meter and to pay the parking for him. They claimed the company do not reimburse them and also the logistics "experts" company does not provide them… Read Full Review

“Do they actually have any gas engineers?”

This company firstly sent to me a non Gas Safe registered fitter to repair a broken gas hob and have since cancelled the appointment for a gas fitter to actually come and replace the broken part four times, today being the fourth. On the 1st occasion the excuse was the fitter ''wasn't qualified to do the job'' , 2nd and 3rd times they ''have no gas engineers in my area'' (the Cotswolds) and today I am told that ''several of their engineers have gone off sick'' and that the next available date… Read Full Review

How about getting the lass who rings to cancel all the time to ring and say we realise we are in the wrong and will deliver and fit the hob before the end of the week?

This is pointless, 1. I don't have a facebook account, 2. How would I know what facebook account to friend and 3. If I knew where you were based I could google your details and email you as requested. I am placing a safe bet that you will cancel the new delivery/install date of 18th December as you have no gas engineer to send.

There would be a specific telephone number, depending on whom you ordered from. However, we have the main line which you may then be transferred from but we cannot leave that number here.

Our head office is in Crewe, however we have a number of outbases around the country.

“Horrendous experience ”

We just had a fridge delivered were told by the company D and G they would deliver inside to the room and remove the old fridge. As soon as they arrived they had a horrible attitude and did not want to wear a mask or delivery to the kitchen unless we paid for installation. It’s a fridge we didn’t require installation. They stood outside the house swearing and being rude just cause we asked them to do that the company we purchased from said they would. Would never have them deliver again!… Read Full Review

“Useless unreliable ignorant ”

I was promised my washing machine delivery today! I had a confirmed text yesterday telling me my delivery is due tomorrow and they will further message to give me a window of time!! I waited from 7am till 7 pm! A whole day WASTED!! They didn’t even have the decency or respect to inform me that they were not going to turn up! Fuming!! “2 awful delivery men”

I ordered an American fridge to be be delivered at my home. The delivery men were moaning from start to finish. They moaned that the fridge was too big, too heavy. Kept telling me the fridges were a nightmare. I had builders at my home so they insisted that the builders helped them. I asked what they would do if the builders were not here, they said they would refuse to bring it in. I live in a house and they literally had to bring it 3 meters to my kitchen. “Awful Service”

Due a delivery today with a third party using EL to deliver the item. No delivery slot given prior to to the delivery day and then a text at 0701 giving a delivery a lot of 0700-1000. As a shift worker it would have been useful to know that the company intended to turn up at my door at 0730 as I’d been at work until 0400, so missed the pre-call due to phone being on silent and in bed. Called the driver to try and sort this, but not interested and called the office who were equally unhelpful… Read Full Review

We cancelled our order with John Lewis that you failed to fulfill, and purchased a similar american fridge freezer from a local competitor. They sent someone to do a site visit, and confirmed they could deliver the fridge-freezer to our first-floor kitchen. It is now happily installed and working perfectly, and John Lewis has lost the sale.

Had a text message 7.57 am 2 say my delivery was expected between 8-12 checked the tracker it said between 10-12 had 5 more drops b4 me! So phoned my mom an told her she didn't have 2 come up whilst i took my child 2 school. “Imcompetent & Lazy Delivery Men!”

Range Cooker delivery. Firstly I received a call to say that there was no one home which is untrue, I don’t even think they managed to ring the door bell! Upon arrival the 2 men refused to take the cooker beyond the front door and said that were only obliged to deliver the item to the front door and not inside the property.
