I Like It
Good hotel. Here are reasonable prices and good service. I like the very location of the hotel, here is a good infrastructure. Number I had clean, modern furniture in the room, a good shower. I was dissatisfied with one employee, his behavior, but on the whole it did not spoil my impression.

I Am At An Internet Cafe In Parga At The Moment Sp
I am at an internet cafe in Parga at the moment spending my last moments in this lovely place as tomorrow I am flying back to Holland. I probably had the best holiday of my life in Parga. It is real a paradise. Very beautiful and romantic, nice beaches, very friendly people and there is really a lot to see and do.
I stayed at the Alfa hotel which I think was far above my expectations. Spotlessly clean, the towels were changed every day and the sheets every second day. It is the only hotel where I didn't hesitate to walk without my shoes on like I do at home. The rooms are spacious with A/C, a fridge, telephone, TV, safety deposit box and something that you cannot find in most of the hotels in Greece - a bathroom with a bath tub!
It is a small family hotel with only 23 rooms, very cosy and friendly atmosphere. The people that run the place are very hospitable and embrace the guests like they are part of the family.
The pool area is lovely with a lot of sunbeds so that everyone can have one, nice music and a snack bar with a great variety of tasty snacks. The prices for the drinks if you spend your day by the pool were very good, cheaper thatn in town and you do not have to pay for the sunbeds or for a taxi boat to take you to the cosmopolitan beaches.
They have built a new restaurant at the right end of the hotel, called the 5 Senses restaurant which opens in the evenings and is probably the most beautiful and luxurious restaurant in Parga. The decoration is unbelivable and the owner Dimitris said that he had decorated the place himself. If that is true, I think he should quit the hotel business and become a decorator, the place is a real piece of art. I tried the best restaurants in Parga and I can say the food there was far the best in town and the prices were very good. It is much more expensive to eat in a simple taverna on the harbour (they are all rubbish) than eat at the hotel. If you ever eat there try the chicken breast stuffed with sun dried tomatoes rocket leaves and parmesan as well as the veal fillet with espresso coffee and sambuca.
In the evenings we always went for a drink at the bar and had a lot of fun as we mixed with English, Dutch, Germans and Greeks. Here it does not matter where you are from, we all have fun together. We have even arranged to come back next year at the some time with some of the people we met here. I never thought that Dutch people could mix so well with English.
That's all, I better not write anymore. I highly recommend Parga for your holiday and the Alfa hotel is the best choice you can make. I wish you a wonderfull holiday!
