Everything's fine until you want to take your money out. It seems you can't transfer money to any account that dosen't have a direct debit set up linking it with your HiSave. This is not only bizarre, but completely unnecessary, as no other bank has this ludicrous requirement. Not only do ICICI take 6 days to tell you this, they take another 14 days to set up the direct debit (which has to be printed and sent "snail mail"). That's the best part of a month before you can even initiate a transfer out of your account. (absolutely no problems transferring money in of course, you just do that with the same simple money transfer mechanism they won't let you use to take money out...) Every other bank of course lets you do a money transfer in a matter of minutes, just by entering the account details into a website screen. This bank is just an embarrassment to the banking profession. What makes them think it's acceptale to make a customer wait nearly a month to complete a basic, simple money transfer is beyond me.

Unable to change address or phone number online, and despite messages to account manager, after 4 attempts this simple change can not be processed. Tried to transfer money on Friday morning and system gives transaction accepted, however no transfer exists in the history and no money is sent to the bank account! Tried again and the same happens, you receive a transaction successful message but nothing happens! printed this out and phoned instead - still have not got my money. This is the worst online banking software I have ever encountered.

DO NOT TRUST THIS BANK AT ALL - their staff will cheat you into signing up for policies and accounts that you do not understand. They changed the contract length of my accounts after signing the form! I even cancelled within the freelook period after noticing this on the copy of the application forms and they still refuse to return my money! I have contacted them on countless occasions, but they are refusing to cancel or return my money. And despite asking them about the corrupt staff, they never comment on them. A VERY FRAUDULENT COMPANY WHO YOU SHOULD NEVER TRUST.

I have had many problems with ICICI Bank Canada and most of them revolve around International Money Transfers. Their systems fails and locks the amount for a day or two and the call center can't do anything. They have also started charging a $5 fee now for each money transfer transaction to India. They already make money by giving a low "competitive" exchange rate and now NRI's get boned twice by these Greedy BAD Customer Service Bank.

ICICI Bank HiSAVE Savings Account is better than other internet banking players. Overall good to invest in.

Despite some adverse comments in the media when ICICI started in the UK, since I joined in late 2006, I have had good service, no issues at all, and interest credited monthly on time. Great rate of interest Now covered by the Uk savings scheme arrangements if the bank had problems

I don't think any other bank in the UK provide as much interest on your money.. Customer service is al right.. internet banking is easy and secure..

Their computer system made numerous mistakes, debiting funds from both my savings account and my linked account with another bank in error. The mistakes carried on happening after alerting ICICI Bank. At one point, several thousand pounds were missing from my savings account, and it took 6 weeks and many emails and phone calls before the money was returned.

The ICICI Bank HiSAVE Savings Account offers the same account operation as ING Direct, except that they offer a 0.3% higher saving rate than the Bank of England base rate.
Highly recommended.

Its the year 2021, August 13th and one would assume thart this problem is now resolved - but NO. I have been waiting for the last 4 days and customer service claim they cant even see my details. All i can do is login and see my account balance but no taccess a penny out of it.
