I ordered a Mattress Topper online. There was no mention of when it would be delivered. When I didn't receive it after 2 weeks, I phoned and was told it would be shipped directly from the manufacturer in China which would take 4 weeks. I made a 30 mile round trip to send them via the named collection point, only to be told they no longer handled Chums goods, as they didn't pay their bills on time. If you want to by goods from Chums, then you need to know that you need access to a returns collection point or pay £5 to have it collected by a courier. Quality and cut of the sixties, just purchased six pairs of high waisted elasticated mens trousers in various styles , several tops,sandals,underwear and jacket, all excellent and generous room allowed at seams, pockets on trousers really deep and at right angle to prevent contents falling out, also pocket material as strong as tent cloth. “Very dissapointed with Universal Hob Covers! Avoid!”

After waiting for three weeks for delivery, the induction hob covers came in a completely smashed condition. The web-site was misleading, they never told the customers that the induction hob covers (poppy, grey, slate) are made from thin glass! My finger was cut on the broken glass when I opened the parcel, and both covers were smashed in thousands of tiny pieces of glass. Now we are waiting for a refund! Chums owe me £22. I have rung times which costs money. Told something different everytime. I have receipts that I have sent Goods back, but cannot seem to get my money back. I have sent a letter recorded deliver, but they still have not contacted me. Do not know what to do next, don't think I will ever get the money back. I will never order from them again. Ordered two bra's from this company and as the website was advertising that a white size 16 was out of stock I ordered an 18 - no problem order accepted and money taken from my account. Ordered some pillows through A Wowcher code (which was a new experience) as you have to get a code from Wowcher and then go to the company's website whose product it is and order putting in a code. “Stay clear of this company”

The telephone service of this company is very bad. I had reason to contact them over an article they supplied for my wife. The answering service does advise that calls will be charged at10p per minute but I waited for them to answer not believing that I would wait over 5 minutes each time. There were 4 occasions this happened and I ended up paying £5.60 in phone charges from BT.I made the calls at different times of the day.
