My family and friends really enjoy our nights at Quo Vadis. We have been numerous times and also recommended it to many friends.
They do get busy and some times you might have to wait a couple of minutes for that second bottle of wine but if you want fast food go to a "Fast Food" outlet on the retail park.
The standard of food is great. We have been many times and I think twice I have mentioned something and things were sorted out immediately.
The stand of service is excellent. I cannot fault them. The new manager Miguel has given a new twist to the place which we are enjoying.
If you go there for a meal and have a problem speak to the manager and he will sort it out straight away. G & Family

It was nice day and thought of stopping at quo vadis for a good night out with friends. Actually i was surprised at the quality of food served, as it was well below average. The waiters just seemed to stand around in a funny mood and didn't seem bothered. The most horrible part was when the waiter approached us with a bill, and advised us that the credit card machines were not working and he would escort one of us to a local cash machine to withdraw cash to settle the bill but earlier i saw the same waiter accept visa payment on the table next to us. I looked at the manager and he seemed to just stand around in his casual clothes and trying to avoid us. I was really embarrassed and disappointed....

The food we had at Quo vardis was ok and for the price of the meal was fairly acceptable. However the servic was absolutely awful! I couldn't believe our waiter didn't smile once and we were the only people in the place. You think they migt make more of a effort when your their only customers! Ashame the food was very overshadowed by such poor service. Ok value for money but don't expect atmosphere and certainly not a smile!

I really liked this restaurant not only because I thought the food was gorgeous, because it really was. The food was top quality! but also the service they provided was exceptional. They make you feel very welcome and are always providing you with whatever you would need or want. They are very nice to their customers and also to each other in working together. I find the price not too expensive and perfect or almost cheap thinking of the good standard of the food!
I would deeply recommended this restaurant to everyone!

I went to Quo Vadis, Wakefield with my mother and my girlfriend over the christmas holidays and i found the staff very pleasent, polite and down to earth. Food is very well cooked, Staff are friendly, Owners Are Very Polite. The food was fantastic and the fillet steak is to die for. Id highly recommend going with family or friends.

we book our work party at quo vadis every year and we are very happy with the food and the party atmosphere. we think it is the best italian restaurant in yorkshire as the food is out of this world.

I've been going to the Quo Vadis restaurant in Wakefield for about a year now - every other week ! It is extremely nice.
My partner and I have taken friends, family and work colleagues there, and so far we have had nobody saying they have not enjoyed the evening, and everyone has found the food to be scrumptious !! No complaints at all.
I rate this much better than Bibi's in Leeds - the food is just as nice, but not has fussy.
All good from me... and everyone I know!

A pleasant evening but no childrens options/portions available. Very disappointed that we were charged for drinks we had not had and that the over charge was not fully refunded. Would probably call in again but not with the grandkids.

In our experience, we thought that Quo Vadis, Wakefield had no atmosphere.
The restaurant was closing and all food was served within 10 minutes of ordering. Microwaved?
All four different dishes tasted like the same sauce had been used.
The manager was rude, obnoxious and abusive.
All five of us will make sure we never visit the restaurant again. In our opinion, it was over priced and over stated. There are many other restaurants in Wakefield that deserve you money.

Umm well, I can't say I was not overly impressed with Quo Vadis. We went on NY Eve, which maybe gives an unfair reflection, but other people have had the same experience. Basically it is a poor mans Bibi's (very nice Italian in Leeds). The menu I thought was very 80's, and the prices compared to Leeds al a carte, not a tacky Italian in Wakefield. I had prawns and avocado for starters (how 80's). The prawns were frozen, and they were just dumped in a pile on the plate, and the avocado was bruised! For my main course I had steak, which I asked to be medium. It came, and it was so well done, it could have knocked someone out! They garnished the plate with pieces of orange, the juice of which ran in to my Madeira sauce and made a disgusting taste! My recommendation would be to either go to Bibi's in Leeds, or try Lou Lou's or Brassiere 99, which are two Wakefield restaurants that are very nice.

I visited this restaurant along with my daughter and 2 friends for my birthday on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was busy, bright and the atmosphere lively.
On arrival we had a pre-meal drink from the bar. The price for 2 soft drinks was a little pricey at £4.40.
The food at Quo Vadis was disappointing. I expected freshly made pasta and full flavoured herby freshly made sauces, something a little different from what you might cook at home (dried pasta and ready made sauces). This meal was nothing special, and the prices are exorbitant - £15.50 for a starter and a main.
My personal opinion is that there are far better Italian restaurants in the Wakefield area.
I may have been spoiled the weekend before in Madrid where my daughter and I had a mouthwatering meal for 2 of grilled prawns (huge), Veal and delicious vegetables, chocolate cake to die for, and a huge jug of very strong sangria which cost all of £20 each! The meal was an experience of flavours.
This was my first visit to Quo Vadis, but I won't be visiting again.

I expected good things from Quo Vadis in Wakefield but was bitterly disappointed. The service was slow and inaccurate, the food was very poor indeed & the prices exorbitant. Other Italian restaurants in the area are much better.
