Ds lites are amazing. The Range of games you can also purchase is truly brilliant. The screens have great graphics and should definitely be brought by you. i would reccomend the DS Lite for anyone aged four- one hundred. No matter how bad you think you are at electronic games this Ds Lite could change your life forever. Some games can be educational such as brain training or art acadamy so your child will still be learning something over the summer holidays. Buy the Ds Lite now for £100 or less.

This week I bought a Refurbished DS Lite for my girls, because she asks for a long time. Considering she is a little girl so I bought this original one for her, she is very happy. The color is pink, and can play a lot of games, the most important is that it only costs me $89.9, but has the same functions as the original DS Lite. So here I want to recommed this website to you:

love the touch screen on the Nintendo DS Lite and how its incorporated in to gameplay, like the mike being integrated too. dont like the fact that most games have annoying repetetive soundtracks, but you cant have everything! :)

The DS is smaller, has longer battery life and has new technology such as the touch screen but consoles such as the PSP have better and more features and have better graphics and sound quality. Also, the DS games range is too specific to a certain age range and therefore their games are sometimes unsuitable for an older age group. As well as the fact that the games that are suitable for the age group of the buyer are often not very expansive and therefore the buyer often gets bored of the game.

***My Nintendo DS***
I bought my Nintendo DS just over 1 year ago from Argos. The only one avaliable was in black so I purchased this one for just over £100.00. I also bought an accessory pack which came with a case, spare stylus, cleaning cloth, screen protectors, ear-phones and game cases to keep my games in when I'm on the move.
I regularly play my nintendo DS game when I am on long train or bus journeys. I haven't ever used the ear-phones, I just turn the volume down on the console.
I have to admit that I don't play my Nintendo a huge amount, only when I am travelling on the train or bus. I am 23 and I find a lack of games for people my age or older.
My mum loves her playing her nintendo DS and she likes to play Crossworkds and Sudoku, but these games don't interest me.
I own a few games including Worms, Scrabble & Spyro. I haven't bought a new game for a while as there hasn't been many out which I have wanted to try.
There seems to be a huge range of children's games such as Pokemon, Barbie, Postman Pat, Bob the Builder, etc and only a limited choice for older people.
The games for the nintendo vary and some of these can cost upto £40 each. I always look in the Trade In section in Game as your can normally find the games you want for a cheaper price.
***Using the Nintendo DS***
The nintendo ds is easy use and is very light to hold and can easily fit into a bag or maybe even a pocket. The stylus slips into the back of the console safely so you don't loose the stylus and the games are easy to put into the slot in the back and are simple to remove. Just simply push the game into the slot and push it again when yo are ready to remove it and the game will just pop out.
There is an off/off switch on the side which you just slide to switch on or off, there is also a volume switch as well which also slides to control the volume!
The graphics on the nintendo DS are pretty impressive and are also in 3D as well. The colour of the screen is brilliant and the sound is pretty impressive as well. I think the sound is quite loud when you have it up on the top volume.
Some games require you to use the stylus and the game controls which includes directional buttons and 4 other lettered buttons. There is 2 other buttons on either side of the console on the back which are easy to use, using your finger when holding the console. There are sometimes used in games to change the view/camera angle.
***Recommended?***
This is a great console and gives great entertainment for a few hours. They are great to take when going on long journeys as the battery lif is very long and there's a great range of games to choose from as well.
You can make them more personalised by choosing your favourite colour and getting accessory packs to match as well.
I would recommend this console to anyone as there's games for everyone to play but more so for younger children.

Powerful 3D handheld console with a super accurate touch screen. It's very versital and you can play a very wide variety of games everything from Guitar Hero to Animal Crossing to the Legend of Zelda is at your finger tips wherever you go. The screens are very easy to clean. The console gives you that big console feeling no matter where you are. The battery life is pretty good and the screens are ultra bright. Also, you can get wifi on the lite from a pretty good range. I measured it off at about 25 meters even though the limit says approximately 10 meters we managed to push it farther on some games, other you have to be closer though. Multiplayer games through DS Download Play, LAN, and WIFI. GBA Port can play previous GBA games. Nintendo has been holding out a little because the console lacks 1 game that all Nintendo consoles should have and that is a Super Smash Bros. game. All of Nintendo's big consoles since the N64 have had a Smash Bros. game, and to finish getting that full-size feel in a hand-held I feel that they need to add a Smash Bros. Game. GBA port only supports GBA games and any games older than that will not fit. The Nintendo DS is overall the best hand-held game console ever made. Anything is possible with the light, and it feels like a full-size console when you get into the games.

The Nintendo DS is easy to carry round. Good for all ages - i take it to work and ive had everyone playing it from 6 to 88.
The choice of games isn't the best - Sims 2 is completely different on the ds and is really boring because of it. But new and better games are coming out in the future. Overall it's really good fun.

Nintendo has dominated the handheld market since the Game Boy and it's not really hard to see why; the actual games are fantastic. The PSP may have a multitude of features like MP3 and internet browsing, but if you actually want to play games, get the DS. I'm lucky enough to have both, but if I could only have one, it would definitely be the DS.

I was pressured into letting my 5 year old son have a go of my Nintendo DS Lite when I got it. I had to fight to get it back... so now he's got his own. I like to think it's improving his hand/eye coordination and like to ignore that he's in a hideous mood when we drag him away from it.
However, it's good to use for a reward/punishment/bribe too!

My first game system, the Nintendo ds is way better than my expectations, the microphone and stylus make it a better experience, ds games have awesome 3D graphics, it takes dirt cheap game boy advance games too!Overall it's a really cool handheld system, the awesome pros balance out the tiny cons, I would recommend this system to a friend. That is, if all my friends didn't already own one! The touchscreen gets scratched up really easily, sometimes blowing into the mic is hard and gets spit all over the top screen, GBA games have 2D graphics and only use the top screen. Battery wears down after a few hours of play

The battery doesn't last very much and my Nintendo DS Lite touch screen has been failing a few times.I for one love the ds and if you have a problem or anything, what is wrong with you? Touch screen is cool, cool types of games end some designed.

The fact that the DS has shown how Nintendo dominates the handheld gaming market says something about it, in that it's easy to play, and the touch screen minigames and the like are often fun, if not repetitive and a bit gimmicky. The Lite can surely only improve on its' success then, as the trend of releasing the same console in a smaller package has only seen success.
The Lite looks interesting enough, although the fact that when GBA cartridges are inserted they stick out. Aside from that though, there is a eason why the PSP sells, other than the fact that Sony fanboys want to play ports of their PS2 and PS3 games on the go.
Yes the only real downside to the DS lite and its' predecessor is the lack of game support for it. Although hundreds of DS games are released each month, it's the small minority that any gamers are going to buy. There is a difference it seems, between a simulation and a game, and simulations such as the 'Imagine' series seem to be a much more often ocurrence. So much so, that I have one of these, for the rare occasion when I want to buy a game for it, and a PSP for when I don't want to sift through the rubbish. And unfortunately, that seems to be the way the Wii is going too ... :(

Touch screen eventually scratched. I did have a stick on screen saver at first but didn't replace it once it had worn. So don't make same mistake as me! After about 10 months of use a hinge broke, company did offer to repair it but I didn't want to be without fit or about a month (Saddo I am), but its still going strong 18 months later.
Great little console, Daughter has a psp but she prefers to play on my ninetendo. Wish there was more games available for us old codgers though.

I liked the touchscreen, it works very well and its well developed. The battery life is excellent. Its light and compact.
Overall its ok, don't expect an amazing gaming experience but its fine if you like to pick it up now and then and mess around. Therefore well recommend the Nintendo DS Lite.

I may have only had my DS Lite for just over a week but I can't find any problems with it whatsoever. I believe some people have experienced problems with it and the big danger is if the stylus won't make contact with the screen, you can no longer play DS games on it but I don't expect this would happen. Overall, they're some amazing games available for this, just general fun games like Cake Mania, Nintendogs and Brain Age. But they're also many adventure games for a wider audience, such as, Zelda and Mario. The graphics aren't as good as the PSP but I'm not into graphics and stuff so I really don't see much difference myself. I bought a DS instead because of the touch screen and the games available.

The Nintendo DS Lite is pretty good. Not too expensive. Good for all ages, the whole family will love this. Easy to use, even for middle aged women! Not a confusing array of buttons like the PSP. Can't think of any yet, but may be the lack of buttons means that there is less ability to play complex games (may be!). Im glad I read the Nintendo DS lite reviews here and made a good choice.

Easy to use, light and addictive.
Addictive, expensive (needs to be about £15 cheaper) games expensive (buy used).
'm 44 and am addictive to this little games console great fun and you can play multi players on the same game. Took ages to find one just after Christmas but managed to get one from HMV.
