“I Lost Nearly US$160!”

Bought US$125 of merchandise relying on website promise of free return international postage. Decided to return items, but could not find link to postage label. Customer Service provided US address for return and promised reimbursement. Package returned to me as "Refused". Customer Service provided UK address for return and promised reimbursement. Evans now denies receiving return and will not reimburse $35 in postage. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

“ON LINE SHOPPING”

I love Evans store shopping, so I decided to try on-line, chose two items for collet in store, 10 days later I am still waiting for my items, tried to track delivery, but as I don't have a tracking number, I cant, I have tried e-mailing, no answer back, I have tried ringing customer services, cant get through, due to demand, and then it cuts me off, really disappointed and really lets Evans down greatly, don't shop on line girls its a nightmare, and the best is my money was taken from bank account the same day. scandalous ..

“International shipping IS A JOKE”

Evans do not care about any order you make. My parcel has been lost in the mail and they have repeatedly told me (after losing multiple hours of my life trying to contact them) that they cannot do anything about it. Why would you allow for an international parcel to go untracked??? To make matters worse they clearly say on their website 9 days to Australia however it's been 18! Then they have the audacity to say they must wait 4 weeks even though their website says this nowhere!

“bra”

i ordered a 42f x2 bras they arrived very quickly, but when opened it was obvious they were too small. when opened they measured 29ins and at full stretch 38ins. i got a refund but i begrudge paying postage for such an obvious flaw. the girls in the shop agreed with me. they were far too small.

If you have a problem that cannot be sorted out with the FAQs you will need to book a days annual leave to get a response by phone as they take longer than 20 minutes to answer and do not respond to emails. Diabolical customer service

“evans is to exspencive!!!!! ”

I went to evans in whitrose a couple of weeks ago I was going out on the saturday so needed some going out clothes. I got to evans and the clothes were so exspencive!! I'm young with no job because I am really into my studies so what can I do??? I can't afford to buy anything from this shop its discusting.. Just because there using more fabric does not mean rhe prices should be so high people especially younger bigger woman who want to look after them selves can't because they can not afford to. What was worst is because I am so young all the clothes were old and smart so there was nothing for my age this really effected my emotional state that day. I've been arguing whether to lose weight because I can't afford to dress myself

I was given excellent customer service, the product was explained to me in every detail I was made to feel very comfortable in the store, staff were very friendly and helpful and put me at complete ease. The tights I bought were exactly as the sales advisor had said they would be, I would definitely go back to this store. There's nothing negative for me to say about my experience.

“Know Your Stock ”

Today I shopped In Evans Southend. I knew what I wanted , jeans, I found a pair within minuets of entering the store, and to my delight fitted perfectly, I approached a sales assistant and asked if they had this style in any other colours as the fit was really good, but she just did not know and made no real effort to even find out! I would have brought 2/3 pairs as so pleased with the pair I tried on.... If I had worked there I would have looked everywhere or asked another member of staff..If the lady had said why dont you treat yourself to 2 pairs I would have done! But as I was of no interest, left the store with my purchase. I also brought some shoes and the same lady was at the till point, did not check them ( as a pair ) or get me a new pair from stock room, so the pair I brought had dirty/dusty soles... At this time with cash short in the retail sector you would think that staff would be helpful and be glad of your custom....and show it.

So sorry to loose the Stevenage store. To be fair they didn't get all of the best range on offer at other stores. Now our town is bereft of good quality fashionable clothes for the fuller figure. Don't know what I am going to do,for off the peg outfits that suit, just when I want them. Hate shopping, without seeing the items in the flesh so to speak.Can't always travel out of town to search out the nearest EVANS shop.

I have just purchased clothes in the Waterford store in Ireland. The clothes are fab and I am delighted with my purchases however I am writing here to commend the sales assistant that dealt with me, her name was Kate and to say she couldn't be more helpful is an understatement . She has provided me with a fab new outfit and accessories to match. She didn't judge and put me at easy as soon as I entered the store from this expierance I will most definitely be shopping in Evans Waterford again... And hope Kate is there to serve me

My only problem is that I have a big arm and most of your blouses don't size my arm. Very painful, when you see what you want and like but can't go in the arm. Your blouses are lovely if the arm size can be increased that will be lovely. My size is 30/32

I shopped in your Southport store on Lord St last weekend and a lady called Rachel served me I would like to say how pleasant she was very patient and helpful and gave me her time as I was asking her advice on trousers and she came to and fro with things to show me without making me feel awkward. If she could get a bonus for this I would be pleased but you could do with more staff like the people who work there, in other stores ie Liverpool. I nearly did not go to Southport as on line the clothes looked very drab and dull, yet when I walked in the shop there were so many nice things on display and the clothes looked bright and cheerful, nothing like on line, dont know where you r going wrong. One other thing the girls said you could buy shorter length trousers, but not from Southport why not! Surely they should be available in all your shops its not like Southport is a tiny shop its also a busy Town people coming to shop all the time. Also I have had lovely jackets short sleeved especially from Evans why have you stopped selling jackets people still wear them Summer and Winter? I hope you will take note of my comments as so many people say you r wasting your time. I ended up buying 4 lovely tops and bracelet pity things r not cheaper!! Hint \Hint

Fantastic service and advise from your sales assistant who helped me with a bra fit and making me look and feel fantastic and i went on to buy a couple of new tops with your assistant advising me .I felt so good about myself when I left your store in Bromley Kent .Only one small drawback is the stairs up to get out of the store, but once again your assistant offered to help by taking me up in the lift great service thanks again.

I can find no fault with my local shop (Chesterfield) or the very friendly and helpful staff - five stars, but what a performance I have had trying to register to pay my account online. I have lost count of the phone calls I have had to make which I found very frustrating. Well touch wood after spending the last hour and another four phone calls I am living in hope that it has finally been sorted and I can get on with more important things like using the card to BUY !!!!! i often shop in your surrey quays branch,the staff are helpful,and always tell you what events are coming up,my last vistit was for winter boots,and i had a younger person with me who never shops in evans as it is to old fashion in her eyes, well she left with a pair of full lengh boots which she has never been able to buy because of her wide calfs, in any other stores,and some pretty underwear , and was amazed at the upto date cloths now on offer and yes i got my boots two pairs in fact, youve come a long way evans well done .

“Worst online experience ever! ”

What a dreadful experience. I ordered for the first time from Evans about 3 weeks ago. The website was advertising an additional 20% off online orders, which required you to enter a discount code at checkout. I duly entered to code, only to find that the discounted price didn’t update. I wondered if there would be a further screen that showed the end price, but no, the purchase completed at the full price. I immediately found the ‘contact us’ section on the website, which included a drop-down subject heading for ‘discount was not applied’. I sent the email, and heard nothing. Another email: still nothing. A formal complaint: zero. While I was waiting I received an email to say my order had been shipped, but nearly 3 weeks later...you guessed it. Nothing. As far as I’m concerned I have been ripped off. My advice is DO NOT use this site if you are ordering from OS. Customer service is worse than useless.

hi went into the Plymouth 027 store last month had been in several stores before then looking for black or blue trousers. came in to the Plymouth store 027, a very nice young lady asked did i need help and i said trousers, which she showed me the way to the upstairs, where do i begin i thought to my self, as i am mature women, pear shaped,bootleg,skinnyleg,then this lovely girl came over to me called Tania.she put me at ease said take a few diffent pairs in and see how they fit,Tania came in and gave me an honest apinnion on what suited me the best.I will be shopping in your store again thanks to Tania.
