Rode it (almost new) from Chennai to Madurai in Tamil Nadu over 16 days and it was superb. Carrying two rear panniers and a handle bar bag.
Have now commuted on and used it for appointments around Brighton & hove, pretty hilly town, for over a year with no problems. Generally using panniers too.

Did 620 miles in Southern India with a couple of punctures only. Use it daily to and from and at work without any problems. Rust on bolts but no actual problems. Now 9 months old… Read Full Review

When I first got the Marin Muirwoods 2005 I was so impressed with this fast lively urban bike I would have rated it 10
Now it has started to rust (8 months old) I have dropped to an 8
It is very, very good value for any cyclist happy to change cables & pedals & regrease or replace headraces…
