Wedding

Got married here one year ago now.Would recommend this hotel to everyone is lovely and friendly, our wedding day was fantastic didn't have to worry about a thing, its all sorted for you.You can either pick by the beach or in there lovely gardens in which i had.The beach is also lovely just didn't like the fact of everybody watching you.Food is lovely ,but it is a bit to posh for me Al la cart. You only need ask and they will make you anything else which was really good and well you cant fault the weather i got married in October was some rain but dries up in an instant.my room had a balcony with a sea view and was very spacious with to separate rooms, one with TV and seating area and other with the bed.Over all excellent!

We Had A Fantastic Holiday In Crystal Cove. The Ho

We had a fantastic holiday in Crystal Cove. The hotel was well equiped and very clean. The watersports on the beach and the guys who run them are great, really helpful. The food is nice, especially the Oistins fish fry on a thursday night! That was our favourite. It was so peaceful and quiet in the evenings as the entertainment finished about 11 but we couldn't hear it in our room anyway. Hardly any kids which suited us and the pools were always quiet. Definately recommend the swimming with turtles. Also recommend Segway riding, bit dear but they were awesome fun and we had a blast! Its just something a bit different to lying on the beach. People looking for a lively holiday would probably be a bit bored but the whole of Barbados is so relaxed that its impossible to feel stressed out. There is only 1 speed in Barbados and that is slow! It can take a while to get a drink at the bar!

Barbados Is A Lovely Island - Really Good To Get A

Barbados is a lovely island - really good to get a car and drive round the whole thing (its very small). Definitely worth going over to the opposite coast - and see the pacific waves crashing in.The Crystal Cove is only 'OK' in my opinion. The actual rooms are very dissapointing and unimaginative - quite underwhelming when you get into one of them. The rest of the hotel is nice though - you get a lovely welcome from the staff with a rum punch when you arrive. The pools are great and the communal areas are pretty goodThe beach is quite dissapointing - its a bit rocky and not what you really expect from this stretch of coastline. Some of the guys on the beach who are trying to sell you jetski hires are quite annoying too - the staff should really keep them off your back a bitFood was OK but not great - edible but not that exciting. There was a real problem when we were there of birds getting inside the indoor dining areas - quite unhygenic having a sparrow standing on the food before you eat it. Not huge amounts they can do, but I'd have thought they could do something?Overall we had a nice 10 day stay here but with a bit more imagination / expense paid on the actual rooms it could have been even better.I've never been to an all inclusive before and was slightly nervous (visions of brits abroad downing shots all day long came to mind...) however, it was fine - although the lack of exciting food was a bit of an issue. One problem with this stretch of Barbados is that its not great for going for walks (which we like to do)You can walk a certain distance on the coastline but there are areas that you cannot pass.If you walk on the road outside the hotel most of it doesnt have a pavement, so particularly when its dark you very much take your life in your own hands walking round some of the bends in pitch blackness with cars doing about 70km coming at you!

What A Magical Wedding We Had At The Crystal Cove

What a magical wedding we had at the Crystal Cove Hotel in Barbados. The staff were great! We had a hassle free day, champagne night and breakfast with smoked salmon and caviar.
