“Delivery Problem Solved”

Following a problem with a courier (DPD) failing to deliver my parcel correctly, I was dismayed... Often it is very difficult to retrieve a mislaid parcel when the courier insists that it was delivered, but Zoo Plus were helpful, direct, and resolved the matter promptly. I have used Zoo Plus for my pet supplies for many orders, and I have always found their service to be good, but the real test of customer service is when things go wrong. We ordered a large pet carrier from zooplus. It was delivered in good time via DHL freight. Unfortunately, the item was damaged in transit. Upon sending zooplus photos of the damage, we were offered a full refund within 24 hours. Although it is inconvenient to have received a damaged item (I suspect the fault lies partly with zooplus for inadequate packaging, and partly with DHL for poor handling), their zooplus' service cannot be faulted. During these years there has been few times bruised products and bad packaging, but their customer service has always been quick to answer and refund the products. Really love zooplus - quite easy to navigate, great choice of products - natural and organic for my dogs and reasonably priced. “Good company but a few faults”

I ordered a rabbit run from zooplus and it was shipped very quickly I got emails telling me it was dispatched and money off my next order. The man who delivered it was very pleasant talking about his own pets. The run was good but much smaller than I expected, the wood on the door was split but didn`t cause any problems. Zooplus has so far proved to be an efficient way of purchasing high quality dog kibble (I have started with Taste of the Wild), which was delivered promptly and well packaged without any problems. “Don't choose Yodel as courier for Zooplus deliveries”

Yodel are the default couriers - you have to change it if you want Parcelforce. Yodel are totally useless & will dump parcel anywhere if can't find address. I live in London and I wasn't aware that Zoo Plus wasn't based in England, but it seems that which ever supplier they use for me, is pretty good. So far I've used them on 4 occasions to order food and toys for my dog, and every time the orders have come on time. However, there was one mistake. I ordered a cat tree and some cat litter from Zooplus on a whim, then after ordering I checked out reviews for the site... I was shocked to say the least! Convinced I was going to end up with a broken cat tree and mis-delivered items I sent an email asking if I could cancel the order. I could always go elsewhere, after all. Many thanks for your comments. It's very disappointing to see so many negative reviews of zooplus here. Zooplus ships tens of thousands of orders each month, and the vast majority of customers are happy, and enjoy shopping with us.

However, every now and again, there will be a customer who is less than satisfied, and usually these customers are more inclined to leave (negative) feedback on sites such as these, rather than those customers whose experience was positive.

In each case where there is a problem, we urge our customers to first take up contact with us directly before leaving negative feedback, as we have a customer care team dedicated to resolving issues, which, due to the nature of the e-commerce, can and do occur.

Overall, if you look at pet forums and shopping comparison sites with reviews, such as Shopzilla, you will see zooplus enjoys excellent reviews, enabling the company to establish itself as the UK's and Europe's leading online pet suppliers retailer.

We pride ourselves on our range of attractive, low-cost premium products and would urge new customers to try us before investing too much faith in the handful of negative reviews at Review Centre.

I regularly buy my tinned cat food from Zooplus as it's free delivery over £19. Perfect service except this month, I'm still waiting for my order placed on 30th Nov. Weather & warehouse problems seem to be the explanation when I ring. Have now been given 10% off next order. * Free delivery on orders of £29 or more
* Regular special offers and free gifts
Bad points
* Delivers from Germany, so less environmentally friendly than ordering from a UK supplier and takes longer to arrive
* As products are shipped from the Continent packaging differs from the UK and is written primarily in German
