“Terrible delivery service ”

Prices are good. Range of stock is good. Delivery is awful. Orders go missing, deliveries arrive late or not at all. You have to spend over £15 just to order then it’s an extra £4.99 for delivery unless you spend over £29. Complete waste of time and money. There are so many other websites selling the same things or at least similar things at the same price so needless to say, I certainly won’t be using them again especially as I recommended zooplus to friends and family and they’ve had… Read Full Review

“Zooplus- Good at selling and taking money POOR AT SERVICE”

I purchased a Plastic Drinking Water Fountain with a pump, in June 2018 for about £20, everything good. “Badly packaged”

I order from Zooplus every 3 months or so and for price they can't be beaten, unfortunately they have an utter inability to pack items properly and if the items in question are coming all the way from Germany then you're likely to end up with mangled products. For example, I've now started breaking down my orders into 2 parts, heavy & hard vs soft & light. Zooplus will happily think noting of sticking a 10kg case of cat food in the same box as 5 plastic tubs of cat treats, net result, a box… Read Full Review

“Going Downhill”

I've used Zooplus off and on for quite a few years but the bigger they get,the worse the service seems to get. The prices are still very competitive but the website is poorly maintained and structured. It tells you items are out of stock when they're not, they stored my credit card details without permission and there are inconsistencies and innacuracies in the product descriptions. This is my first order with Zooplus and likely to be my last unless they stop using Yodel as a delivery service. My cat needs a prescription diet for kidney problems and Zooplus have a bigger selection than most online sites I have found. However, my parcel did not arrive when it was supposed to and I contacted both Yodel and Zooplus 4 days in a row, before Yodel finally said it had gone missing in transit. “LONGGGGGG DELIVERY TIME”

If you are in a rush to get your pet food, ****DONT**** ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE, delivery on both occasions I've tried takes 7 days MINIMUM! This time I placed order on 30th, 31st I got an email to say shipped from Germany with a tracking number and in the UK DPD haven't yet received it. I ordered 12kg of Burns puppy food in good time so we would not run out. A week later it was not delivered. I called to ask where it was. I was told it would be delivered on the following Monday. I waited in all day and it didn't come. I called again and was told the food had been returned to zooplus by the delivery company. No explanation or apology offered. I will start off by saying that if my replacement cage arrives in one piece, I will gladly change my review. So I order the falco cage at a cost of £119 and felt very pleased and excited to receive it. So 3 days later my new cage arrived. I open the box and was heart broken. “Regular problems with orders”

Hello, I have been using Zooplus for 2+ years because it is the only online cat product supplier that ships to Ireland. However, I've just decided I'm done with them and would rather pay a little extra to go to a local store than deal with the constant frustrations I've had with Zooplus. Ordered from U.K site and had producted delivered to Spain. paid extra for delivery and invoice shows zero rated V.A.T on delivery charges. but total at bottom of invoice has charged me V.A.T on both product & Delivery. I placed an order for the first time, order went through okay and we were sent an email confirming our order had been posted. It never arrived and the parcel trace number wasn't working. Called them up, they said the parcel must have been lost and they would replace the items, however what I didn't realize was they never took the money until they sent the 2nd parcel, leaves me to believe they never posted the first. “Unfair delivery charges”

They claim to deliver free to most areas of the UK other than the Scottish Highlands and Islands and N. Ireland if your order exceeds £19, which my order did, and I live in West Central Scotland, not far from Glasgow. I was charged £4.90 for delivery. I e-mailed them, pointing out that I did not live in an area excluded from free delivery. The cats have expensive tastes and after I refused to mortgage the house to buy Iams or Hills Science Diet we settled on Burns Organic as a happy compromise. So the gutsy Burmese Eb' & Flo' get Ocean Fish and Duck and Brown Rice in 7.5kg sacks as and when required. We've run out so I do a quick internet search. They're not a British firm. They've got website addresses for several European countries. I think they're a German company but I bet they don't do this sort of rubbish in Germany. I had a dreadful experience with them but started a dispute through paypal. They paid up.

I have never seen a customer service as bad as on zooplus. I've placed an order on Wednesday almost 2 weeks ago, was charged immediately, because I used Paypal. I was hoping my order will be shipped on Friday. It wasn't. I've decided to wait until Tuesday, it wasn't shipped that day either. ZooPlus & Eheim

Ordered a Eheim Aquatic Vacuum cleaner. After 3 weeks, the internals began making a grating noise then the item went completely kaput.
I returned the item for a replacement, as the one sent was inherently faulty. After a month I've had no replacment. Very Very Poor Customer service.

Electrical items use two pin plugs and adaptor supplied is giagantic and not practical when space is at a premium..from my point of view.
