I had a blocked toilet that was backing up into my bath for a week. I had tried everything, and I mean everything and Dyno-Rod had been out and said they needed the jet washers and even that might not work. I re booked them for a few days later but thought I’d try this in the meantime, as well as much more plunging. I had already tried another supermarket chemical (busters) but it didn’t work. It was taking 6-8 hours to drain the bath. So I tried mr muscle overnight and left it alone and woke to clear pipes. My bath emptied in five seconds flat and tbh, I couldn’t believe it!! I’m still worried to put anything more than water down there as I’ve had such a horrible week dealing with this block!! But all looks good and it’s saved me almost £200 on dyno rod!!! Thankyou mr muscle !!!

My kitchen sink was barely draining so I bought this product. I used the product as per the instructions. I gave it 25 mins to do its job because the instructions told me to leave it for more than 5 mins if I felt the need to. It did nothing to fix my problem. It was neither better or worse. I should point out that when i did flush the sink with hot water as recommended, my entire kitchen smelled of strong bleach. I felt they should have mentioned this in the instructions. I had a sink full of slow draining chemicals and a stinky kitchen. Safe to say that I poured my money down the drain with this product. Bottom line, I ended up calling a plumber. He used some sort of flexible hose that sprays water at its tip and fixed the problem in less than 30 mins. He even gave me a discount. I'm ashamed to say that buying this product did nothing else but add to the total cost of fixing my drain.

Used Mr Muscle Drain Cleaner after trying other products and the plunger. One bottle and worked a treat. Saw the reviews of others and couldn't believe some of the complaints. One especially was regarding the removal of the top. Where are these people coming from??? Did they fail Lego at play school??? Coming from Australia I didnt even have to screw it anti clockwise!! The product is a beauty , so simple and I will be using it again if necessary. :-)

Can't even get the child lock off. I along with others have tried and tried to no avail. What is the point of a child lock that doesn't even allow the adult to open the bottle? Very disappointed with this product. Though going by many of the reviews on here it, wouldn't have worked anyway. Will not be buying again.

We have developed a blockage which seems to be around the sink and bath/shower drainage point. We had a small amount of standing water in the bath but Mr Muscle maintains that isn't a problem, well let me tell you, it is!! After the first bottle (following the instructions to the letter) and leaving over night, we woke to a clear bath. I attempted to have a shower but the bath quickly began to fill again. We went and bought another bottle with 100% free and had another two goes as before, but i'm still stuck with the blockage and out of pocket. Nice one Mr Muscle!! I've tried rodding but pushed the blockage to the 90 turn in the pipe and now stuck. I've just got some caustic soda, i just hope that does the trick. I really hope this helps everyone in choosing a product that works against one that doesn't in the event of getting a blockage.

Absolutely useless product, it slowed down the flow of water in our bathroom sink. Waste of money, I will not be using any mr muscle products again!

My kitchen sink has been draining slowly for some time, but recently became worse, I was reluctant to use a chemical unblocker, but decided to after plunging and bicarb and vinegar had failed to unblock it, I chose Mr Muscle sink unblocker. I poured the thick liquid down the plughole as advised, the blockage isn't far down the pipe and I knew it wasn't going to work when the liquid rose above the plughole, an hour later it had hardly moved, I poured some hot water on it to see if that helped, it didn't.

This product does not work. My kitchen sink was blocked and draining slowly. The ( large) plughole was full of water but as the product review claims it powers through water i poured it into the plug hole. It didn't even get through the water and just overflowed so I now have a sink of chemicals. Brilliant.

After reading some of the reviews i thought it would not work I used it in my shower as the water drained extremely slow and was almost overflowing in the tray. I used the foam mr muscle and poured it into the trap it foamed up instantly so when foam went poured in rest of bottle and again it foamed up i left it overnight and it worked fine in the morning It was blocked in the pipes we think as trap looked fine so it must go into the pipes and do its job there too it does its job we'll 5 stars for this product give it a go

Purchased a bottle for kitchen sink but two normal healthy people were unable to remove the top! Tried for over 10 minutes each and finally had to pierce the bottle to get at contents. Even with bottle empty top would not open so returned it to S.C. Johnson. Received a really sniffy letter saying that the top wasn't faulty and that 'child resistant tops' had to be more difficult to open. Didn't even refund the postage but 'thanked me for bringing it to their attention'.

i had a really bad blockage for over a week.in the bath , where water was coming up. i saw mr muscles kitchen and bathroom drain gel. after trying everything else.i thought go on give it a go . for another failure. at first when i opened it. i thought its just bleach with a fancy name. but thought whats the harm in trying. so i put half down as instructed. and waited the few minutes ,nothing seem to be happening,so then thought il put the other half down the sink.and within 5 minutes the water was gone. thanks so much you have saved me a few 100 quid.now i have bought another bottle and taking the advice you give and do it on a weekly basis.

I have a bathroom sink that has a bottle trap fitted that is susceptable to getting clogged up with soap, toothpaste, hair etc. It is a real faff to dismantle and clean out due to where it is located. I noticed that the sink was slow to drain again, and so thought I'd see what products were out there that I could try to flush through and remove the blockage/build up. I followed the instructions, left for the instructed length of time and then tried to flush with hot water. Unfortunately the sink just filled up like before due to the slow drain problem. I will probably try a couple of other products on the market, and if they don't work will have to resign myself to spending a couple of hours every so often manually cleaning the bottle trap out.

My kitchen sink started to drain very slowly since this morning and was getting worse by evening, i tied to plung it but it was no use, i was really getting worried that i had to call a plumber but just thought would give a try with caustic soda or any unblocking chemical, so I went to Tesco and they only had mr. Muscle brand so bought this unbloacker and poured the whole content in the kitchen sink, to be honest I was not hoping that it will clear the block as the water was not moving at all due to complete blockage. To my surprise within 10 minutes I was able hear water suddenly draining quickly and I found the water completely drained, poured 2 litre hot water, water was running freely...! I'm totally relieved now...! I hope others trying to unblock your sink,, pls. don't call plumber before trying to unblock by yourself through a plunger or using any chemicals. It is easy and wish you good luck!

I had a big problem, my kitchen sink had got progressively more sluggish at draining until it finally came to a stop almost and took ages to empty. The plunger could not shift it, and I was worried about the cost cos thought I would have to call in a plumber, but I saw this product in tescos and thought I would give it a try -it was 30p cheaper than the Domestos unblocker but the blurb implied it was the same so got this one, the cheaper one.... I got home, unscewed the bottle, stuck it upside down on the plughole in the kitchen sink and left it there, don't know how long cos I forgot about it til I went to make a cup of tea. Then I turned on the tap and put the plug in, I filled the sink up a bit, then I took out the plug half expecting the water to be still there but whoosh it drained away in seconds -BRILLIANT! IT REALLY WORKS!

Easy to buy, easy to use and solves the problem in no time at all.I loved this product because it saved me a fortune in plumbers bills. Just pour the liquid slowly down the plughole. The gel like liquid cuts through any standing water and dissolves the hair and soap scum. All for £3.00. To think I never slept last night because I thought I would be faced with a huge plumbers bill.Highly recommended.

Exactly the same thing happened to me. I have opened many child resistant bottle tops in my time but when this one was depressed it was locked in place defying all reasonable twisting efforts. Before going for the piercing option I will return to the store and challenge any member of staff (or passing body-builder) to open it for me. MB Derby
