Woodbury Park is a Devon country hotel owned by former motor racing driver Nigel Mansell.

We liked the rooms at Woodbury Park, which are generally large and comfortable, and we also liked the excellent relaxation facilities; pool, sauna, small gym, golf driving range and an 18 hole golf course.

We didn't like the food, which was very disappointing, very variable, unimaginative, and the room service was timely, but there was a limited choice and it was below average quality.

We found the staff to be friendly, and most seemed to be local people, rather than the usual residential staff shipped in and underpaid. There is also excellent local pub food in Woodbury village.
