Cleopatra Palace Hotel

Having spent the past 15 yrs at the same hotel in Tenerife we thought it was time for a change The position of this hotel is excellent. Having a gate to get direct access to the beach and promenade is a plus. Check in was very swift plus the offered drink was a nice touch. All the staff are very courteous and helpful at all times We had a Sea view which was excellent although booking a room not directly above the reception would have been better as at times it was a little noisy. The bedroom was of a good size as was the bathroom although that looked a little tired. It was apparent that a good percentage of the guests were on a BB booking, unfortunately this reflected on the evening buffet as it was not of the high standard as the breakfast buffet which was a shame . The blonde hostess in the restaurant was very good and was always at hand to help any guest. You have the choice of two beautiful pools the Cleopatra pool or the Mediterranean pool. Personally l preferred the Mediterranean as the pool aerobics was to music where as my husband liked the Cleopatra as it was quieter They have a weekly Gala night which was excellent and l recommend everyone to attend We certainly will return to this lovely hotel
