We've been here a few times over the years and the food is always good but not fantastic. Decided to visit for a family meal 6 of us. Food was disappointing have had much tastier meals at the Italian chains in Stamford . The thing that disappointed us the most was the £13 service charge for 6 people you should choose to leave a tip.

We are new to the area and tried this restaurant through recommendations via my new work place. After moving from Cambridge which has an ample amount of restaurants, what a real treat to find this gem of a place which we have now eaten at three times in a month of being here. Delicious food cooked by an Italian team who you can watch through an open area and waiting staff who are simply enjoying their roles so much, they go out of their way to make sure you are happy. This restaurant also had a review via the Evening Telegraph last week, 9/10 ! They deserve it. Very nice!

Dined at Toninos again last night...as usual the food was delicious and the service impeccable. My husband and I enjoy eating out and have tried many restaurants, but have to say Toninos is always the one that we go back to. Always a pleasure to eat there, such a lovely atmosphere with friendly welcoming staff, and management who will always go that little bit further to make your evening special. Definitely our favourite restaurant by far.

Always excellent customer service and waitresses always have a smile! Feel very looked after when we have eaten there and happy to change their dishes according to our taste, lovely food and well presented, always such a pleasure to dine there, managers always have a smile on their face and are very attentive to each customer, lovely and friendly atmosphere, thank you for a wonderful evening!

As one of the previous comments mentioned, we have been going to Tornino's for over 15 years and the welcome you get upon arrival leaves alot to be desired. The manageress is none other than RUDE. Walks around most of the time with her nose in the air, no acknowledgement that you are a returning customer and that you are likely to be spending your hard earned cash in there! The food is acceptable, nothing special.Be prepared for a 10% service charge for 6 or more people. Definately will not be going there again!

Gosh, what a delightful evening. We recently moved to the area and have heard so many of our new neighbours and new acquaintances at work rave about this place.......so we tried it for the first time tonight. Very warm welcome by the manager and waiting staff, divine food and excellent service, no wonder it was highly recommended.

We have been going to Toninos for many years and whilst the food is acceptable for a local pizzeria the welcome is far from warming. The manageress is very frosty and unfriendly. If you have been a customer for 15 years or more some kind of acknowledgement would be nice. She makes you feel she is doing you a favour by serving you! Such a shame as Deeping has very few restaurants to choose from.

It is so difficult finding a good restaurant 20 mile radius of Peterborough unless you travel to Cambridge or London. I've now been to Tonino's three times and it is absolutely great. The food is so delicious and it's so nice to hear the Italian chef's in the kitchen with the open kitchen being on view to diners. The waiting staff are so efficient and friendly. An all round great restaurant with a great atmosphere. Will definitely be our new regular!!

Ive just moved to the deeping area and this was our first time at toninos. We were made to feel very welcolme and the food was very good, service was attentive but a little slow. However having moved up from london, im probably used to be rushed so probably not the best judge on service time. i beleive they have a mid week deal two courses for £10, I will write another review once ive tried it. But would recommend to a friend, provided you have plenty of time on your hands.

Food was awesome, compliments to the chef. Didn't rate the Manageress much, far too full of her own self importance - did laugh though when she stuck her nose in the air upon walking away from us and nearly tripped over her own ego. Maybe it's because we didn't appear rich enough for her.

My husband&i have been eatting at Tonino's since it first opened back in 1995. In all that time we have never had a bad meal or bad sevice. The food is always freshly cooked (so yes you may have to wait a while when their busy) but who would complain about that! If after enjoyong your starter,and main course you've stil got room their Tiramisu is very good!

My Wife and eat here regularly, mainly for special occasions, and have been doing so for the past 4 years. Service has always been excellent, prompt even when busy. The choice and standard of food is the best for miles and is far better than other Italian places locally. We have never been dissapointed and have recommended to many friends who agree.

had a fantastic evening and will defently be going back i am tryuing to find the recipie for the lovely food and most of all the fantastic dessert it was all fantastic and will be recomending it to everyone. the service was great to which makes the evening even more fantastic. everyones dinner was fantastic and the deserts was even better. the price was ok but eating out is not cheap so you excpect to pay a bit but for what they serve its not badly priced. i wish i orded 2 of the deserts one to take home with me it was that nice i will defently be returning .
