Went for a week in September 09. The place was clean enough - ok so bits of it were falling apart - but you dont go to sit about in the hotel do you? The deposit thing is s*** but dont destroy anything & u get it back - money for the airport innit. Great crowd mostly with 18-30 incl the staff. One of the barmaids was a bit grumpy but hey ho didnt ruin ma mood lol Yoour right on the strip, above a club. Dont plan on sleepin before 4am. If this bothers you dont go to magaluf at all - go somewhere with smelly old grans etc. Magaluf 2010 - Bring it on!!!!!

Coconut Studios aka Coco Massive, is amazing, the staff are amazing, the barmaid class, went for two weeks in September, was brilliant, going back July 2010, worth every penny, the tripas are awesome and the Jungle Skank Dance legendery, go to The Silent Disco funny as ever, the 18 to 30 band might seem a lot of money but trust me you save a lot of money and meet loads of great people including the staff, XXXXX

First I'm 24. Mad holiday, great time....but Coconut studios were a bad choice.
Should have a fat Spanish guy there to greet you "With the heat and the noise and the heat again, we will break you Senor".
Great for mayhem value and you'll make friends, but suffer after 72ish hrs.

Basically if your 18-25 Coconut Studios is the best place to be... the bar staff are amazing and the reps are awsome too. The pool I would say is either a massive jacuzzi or a VERY small pool. its good for nightlife even when the bars shut you sat up by the bar in cocoa for hours making friend s and causing chaos. fair enough the rooms arnt 5* but they're clean and fair does, not exactly quiet but what else would you expect to maga for? cocoa massive! Made my holiday the best ever.

The Coconut Studios location was excellent. Bars 2 min away beach the same. Rooms were basic but all you do is sleep in it so doesn't really matter. The noise but its Maga what do you expect? Best holiday ever!!! Great place loads of pubs close by and places to eat couldn't ask for any better.

Basic but clean and tidy, great location, right in the middle of the strip opposite kfc and bcm bar (not the club). Wouldn't go there if you like your sleep, loud till about 6 in the morning but doesn't matter.

The Coconut Studios is an excellent. The best hotel in Magaluf. Food, location, accommodation and value for money all 10 out of 10. I would recommend.

Coconut Studios was everything we needed it to be. Bang opposite the beach, great staff & with likeminded people. Somewhere to get our head down in the morning when we were finally ready to pass out!

After reading these reviews of Coconut Studios in comparison to my experience I've got to admit this place is given a bad name. I totally disagree. I paid £250 for the week including the 18-30's bit with Thomas Cook. Yes it has no A/C, and yes its noisy but lets be honest you don't go to Magaluf to sleep. And certainly not on a family holiday, especially on the strip. The rooms are very basic with tiled flooring, and two single beds. Toilet, shower, kitchen sink and fridge. balcony facing the strip. The room is pretty much indestructible to teenage lad. I found the floor brilliant as spillage wasn't an issue.
The building was pretty basic with internet access tho. Pool table in courtyard, pool which was small but deep. very deep and sun lounging. Yes I agree it got hot, but you can hire a fan for £20 which you get back at the end of your stay. The location was right in the centre of the strip so rolling back after a long night wasn't hard. KFC was right opposite which was open till 5:30. In terms of noise, well the holiday i went on was 18-30 and we didn't get in till 7 every morning so noise, wasn't an issue especially when your drunk.
I actually enjoyed my stay, enough to be going again in September. and let me say i can't wait. I really enjoyed it.
Thanks Coconut Studios, see you again in September.

Considering all the stuff that was wrong with Coconut Studios, I'd go again, I slept in my room and that's it. So, yeah all and all it was horrible, but its cheap.

Overall I think that Coconut Studios apartments should definitely be missed. I think they are just awful in general. I found some of the customers annoying, thought it had poor appliances, too noisy for me, and also found it too hot. I would advise not to stay here no matter who you are old or young. I'd find somewhere else. I would not recommend to a friend, not at all.

Despite being the most basic hotel I have ever stayed in, they are really strict and have a list of the cost of every item in the room that they will charge you for if its damaged i.e damage to small pointless wall artwork costs you 30 euros. I would not recommend the rep bar crawl. Its 250 euros for the week with free entry into the clubs and a free happy hour. However a 10 euro pass gets you into the best clubs who give you free drinks anyway. Plus you get no where near the bar at happy hour with the crawl.

What can I say about the coconut, well for a start the location has to be the only good point for me, apart from if you are on the ground level.
I thought the place as a whole was poor, immediately when I got there I felt as though the reps were hounding me for money. I handed over my 30 E deposit and received my room keys, but I was not told then though that they would charge me for towels having sand on them! Also if you're planning on going check all furniture first, as a bed that was only passed out in about 3 times somehow we ended up paying for damage to. As I looked out of my balcony towards the sea, there was rubbish everywhere, not a nice view at all.
And as for the fact that after 11 at night there seems to be no staff at all to assist you in any way I think is ridiculous, we were basically left to it. We were not allowed to bring alcohol in to the site we had to buy the stuff from the bar, I was under the impression that it was self catering?
I would not go again if you paid me.

The rep were the best. The location wise it is really really good. I loved it. The beach is just 20 second away. ..... Coconut Studios, Magaluf, it is for more the young crowd. 18 to 30 ..would go again.............

The pool was incerdibly small, there was no receptionist so therefore if you ran into trouble you could not sort it till the next morning. Also had to keep your hotel key with you at all times. Wouldnt go again.
