On no account consider having work done by this company. They use sub contractors who half the time don't know how to fit windows. I have now been waiting 6 months and finally got the front fitted with loads of errors on the way. 3 times they came with wrong size windows they have missed out a support on one window and that was only known as my cousin was around at the time and the fitters,said,couldn't fit it in. “Everest. Absolute rubbish. ”

Everest first fitted the windows/doors in July 2017. They had however broken some roof tiles as well as hard the wring coloured parts for the windows. Despite many calls, emails, dates booked in for fitting and then cancelling the day of the fitting, Everest are still giving excuses. 17 months later and still not done. Pathetic. I fully agree with all the above. Everest began work fitting my windows on 6th August.fitters left affter half a day on second day then didnt turn up third. they caused considerable internal damage to plaster and serious scratches to newly varnished floors, also left outside my property strewn eith rubbish soggy cardboard boxes falling apart with screws and sealant strewn around. I complained, they sent another set of fitters to assess work they said none of the early work was completed despite 1st fitters assurances, they spent rest of day correcting previous faults fitted one window. They assured me they would return on the Monday but I received a call cancelling that appointment telling me they would complete the work the following Friday. They fitted remaining windows and doors but they had incorrect handles, which I informed their office and was assured they would be changed within 7 days,later found one window blown full of condensation also extremely shoddy attempt at repairing plasterwork, constantly emailing and telephoning there customer service (an oxymoron if ever there was) it appears company policy I had engineer to assess the work and he assured me the work would be repaired within 7 days, that was i,n September now November 25th still waiting!!!!I received a call from fitters outside my house on 20th November I had informed them at least twice that day was not suitable yet they hadn't told the workers?? inept, incompetent and shoddy service. so 4 months and still waiting.. I think Everest policy on customer complaints is ignore them see if they will go away if not then carry out repairs. I paid using VISA so have some recall they are investigating complaint and withholding monies. I would strongly advise against any one using Everest windows after my experiences. I have emailed them again on 20th to enquire why fitters were sent on 20th and request confirmation of 29th yet still waiting for a reply .. to be expected after previous experiences. I have also enquired about compensation concerning traveling costs and loss of work due to the number of days where I had to be in attendance where their staff failed to turn up or came to assess work to date that is five days 6 if they turn up on the 29th!!! totally ignoring my emails concerning that. agree quick to take the money I rang VISA day after and money had been taken!! as for there assurances that the work would take no more than 2 days it is now118 days I believe and still waiting

Terrible service!! After waiting 4 weeks for a surveyor visit we then had to wait another 2 weeks for anyone to tell us whether our order had been placed and if the discount had been applied because we couldn't have the window design that we had been quoted for (which both hadn't) So already a month behind the feasible time scale that was set out by the sales manager. “Poor service all round”

Has taken an age to get the installation completed along with numerous complaints, emails and phone calls. Over two years later and I am still waiting so have turned to review writing to let others know. Getting an installation date was the first red flag. Do not choose Everest you will regret it I have. I was told Installation would be a maximum of 8 weeks.Finally spoke to someone today as 8 weeks was up last week. They dont have the fitters to carry out the work. “The most appalling work I have ever had done. A sales...”

In January a cold caller came and I The price was high but "for the best" I placed an order (Feb 5th). It was cancellation date after date. The delayed installation in May meant I was unable to take visitors from Easter, although not finished I was intimidated into paying the balance due. The team had to be stopped from leaving to re-position 2 doors - the don't close and drag over the carpet. Everest have still not returned to fit a skirting board. I would strongly recommend prospective customers to go local and not to use this Everest. They have a strong brand name which convinces you that you are paying for quality. What a joke. They have no concept of customer service whatsoever. From start to finish I have had to do so much running around, numerous calls to the company, several emails, complaints. The works. “Utter shambles unresolved since July!”

It's a real shame - second time we've used Everest, first time was great. This time an absolute shambles and caused significant stress. Our fitting took place on 12th July (a two day fit squeezed into one day because they were overrunning) - it is now 8th September and we still don't have a complete set of windows, and have had scaffold out the front of the house all summer. “big prices big discounts”

I as for a sales consultant to call and quote for 2 external doors one front one back. back door was just a simple upvc door one pane of glass standard size. front door was door with side panel with glass in. consultant was pleasant polite the quote started out at over £10000 for two doors!!!which was reduced down by over 45% within minutes of quote. but Everest are not alone in this practice all the double glazing company work the same big price to start with then hit you with a… Read Full Review

Customer service = Terrible After Sales = Terrible Windows - 9 out of 14 installed had problems, no idea when these will be fixed, but over a months past already. Complaints procedure = long winded & obviously awkward on purpose. They must get so many complaints it must fall on deaf ears. 'fit the best' - who is the worst!? I've had a very similar experience - just posted mine. I wonder if it's an area thing...or if it's like this nationwide. You're right - it's a gamble...had them last year for some work at the back of the house - smashing job, decent windows; this year for the front...an absolute joke.

“Replace Patio Doors”

Two Scruffy herberts arrived to fit same and unbeware to us! Failed to fully check contents - pieces were missing it turned out! Could NOT get out of my property quick enough! Discovered later the wheels were NOT fitted correctly and one had "slipped" off its runner! Also, a piece of plastic that should have been part of the window vent - was NOT fitted! Everest were not the cheapest, they were more than other quotes. But they were the only company that offered a lifetime guarantee on the frames and sealed units. This was peace of mind for us, we don't want this cost again in 10 years times, but the guarantee is transferable should we choose to sell our home. The salesman was as nice as the others who gave quotes, but the product was amazing, the fitters were a good bunch of guys, very professional, cleaned up and even vacuumed the areas… Read Full Review

“worst customer service ever!”

The conservatory was sold to me on the basis of an 8-12 week build time, the contract said 12-13 weeks, it actually took almost 200 days - over 28 weeks!!!! Throughout, the project management was very poor, communication was very poor, most of the glazing (i.e. over 50% of the windows) had to be replaced because they ware damaged. Frankly the whole set up was shambolic. I made a formal complaint nearly 10 weeks ago and despite numerous e-mails, calls and escalating to the regional director… Read Full Review

I've had the same with windows at the front of my house...I've just started the formal complaint process as we enter the third month (windows for 5 rooms). As with you, a number of faulty units...I'm just stunned that they send them out to fitters only to go back.

I've now emailed the Chief Exec as well - I don't have that much faith in the complaint process, but from there it's trading standards; or seriously contemplating a very large banner to hang from the scaffold that has been outside my house all summer...

We had all our windows replaced with a renovation back in 2014 and we have had issues that were never put right and we are still waiting to have then sorted. The installation was shocking and even their installation manager agreed as well as the sales man too but little was done to fix the issues. We have had two of the large windows develop manufacturing problems and have been waiting over 8 months to have them replaced they have now cancelled on us twice (two days off work waiting for them)… Read Full Review
