I've had my Wii for about a year and absolutely love it! I have a great time playing the family friendly Mario games, while my wife loves using the Wii to connect to netflix. We have definitely gotten our money out of this purchase and I would recommend it to anyone who just wants a good time. I would not recommend this product to hardcore gamers, but anyone can have fun with the Wii.

Ive had my wii for around 3 years now and if your a hardcore gamer then this probably isent the console for you but if you just want some fun either on your own or with the family now and agin then this console is worth buying most of the games available for wii are designed towards family and kids although there are quite a few action games resident evil series for example the wii is a very entertaining console and i would definatly reccomend buying for abit of fun with your family and friends.

Terrible terrible graphics. Lousy range of games. All it is is entertainment for 6 year olds not adults. Wii fit is good at first but becomes very boring. Worst game console to buy, get a playstation 3! PS3's are the best gaming consoles at this moment in time! The graphics for the ps3 are incredible and you get a blue ray player with it!

Nintendo's brilliant attemp at anew console for the ever expanding gaming world this time nintendo have chosen to give a new way of playing and they done this in an incredible way. There is a huge range of immersive and exciting games to choose from. I have nearly 25 games and counting every one has been incredible. I would suggest buying first party games (games from nintendo)as 90% of the best games in my opinion are first party. These are my favourite: animal crossing lgttc, super smash brothers brawl, new super mario bros wii, mario kart wii, wii sports resort, super mario galaxy, and super mario galaxy 2.
The wii has everything you culd ever want from a console.
animal crossing has been started up 380+ times nearly once a day.
I could not want more from aconsole.

I must say the Nintendo Wii was a great idea when it came out - a sort of games console for the non-games market. I had mainly sports games on it and found it thoroughly enjoyable. Unlike other games consoles I've had (ps2, megadrive etc) I dont think Ive ever played it on my own - its a very socialable games consoles and I only used to get it out when friends came round.
That's the good stuff.
The bad points are that it doesnt work that well any more! The handsets dont connect very well, it sometimes restarts itself for no reason and sometimes doesnt come on at all. I've still given it 3 stars as its a cracking console, but its a shame that it breaks so easy - and outside of warantee, which is always annoying!

The Nintendo Wii is a fantastic and fun gaming console, for all the family! The range of games suit everyone's needs, from the more experienced serious gamer, to the occasional user who wants to have a bit of fun.
What i particularly like about the Wii is the interactivity you have with the games. Whether you're playing tennis with a friend, shooting an enemy with the gun, or rocking to some great songs with a bunch of mates, the accessories included with most games actually make you really feel you're part of the game!
I particularly found the Wii to be most fun when you have friends over and you include everyone. Make sure you have plenty of batteries around for the Wii remotes, or you could just get the Wii remote charger pack... depending on how much you play.
Don't expect the same level of graphics compared to the Xbox or Playstation, but this
factor is certainly made up by the great user experience and game play offered by the Wii's large selection of games!

A great fun games machine. My 4 year old can use the games and especially loves the wii fit! It works well, is fairly quick to load.

Nintendo Wii is a really fun console, a nice change from the more serious gaming experiences and a real party toy!! Lots of games avaiable now, only problem is the price but I got mine free from www.gadget4free.com so I don't mind too much!! Really recommend it!

We purchased a Wii and Wii Fit for our children (10, 12 & 15 yrs old) as a Christmas gift... about 15 hours of use later, the console died. I have been reading more and more about the Wii console having "issues" and I wonder how it is that they were able to charge so much for something that, literally, worked for only 15 hours of use?!!! We are waiting for our "fixed" console to arrive via UPS! We will see how long it will work this time! I am a disappointed Wii owner (until they return it to us and hopefully, it will work for more than 15 hours of use this time)!

Overall my kids like the Wii although my eldest seems to keep going back to his Xbox. Easy to use, small, connects wifi easily, games limited especially for older teenagers, mine are 14/16 both get quite bored after a while.
If the PS3 was cheaper would have one of those instead, not recommended unless you have younger children, DS users will like.

I like the way you can play all different kind of games on the nintendo wii console
It is really good for kids but kids under seven years of age well i do not suggest to be played with
Well recommend the Nintendo Wii as I personally can not think of any bad points to mention about this games console.

The Wii is a very fun console. The movement feature is also great. If you have the correct games, the wii is the best gaming console ever made in my opinion, the only problem with the wii is that it doesn't have a lot good games. Most games are pathetic. Also graphics could be better.

I advise you to not get a Nintendo Wii yes they are fun, but after the first few weeks it gets very boring, If your looking for a good console get either an Xbox 360, or a Playstation 3. They don't have a very good range of games, it gets very boring. Its not very good for racing games only sports games that use the motion senser. Its would be amazing if they got a better range of games like Gta and stuff and brought out a better controller for racing games and the original isnt a very comfortable shape on your hands.

Graphics are OK. Good console to occupy the kids. The cost, AU $394 that's one bad point, wii accessories are also expensive, I seem to be forever buying accessories for the thing, AU$29.00 Nunchuck/Wii remote AU$69.95. Not a cheap console to maintain, games are not cheap either.

Great toy. Very fun and also very active. They make it seem way cooler than it really is. The console didn't really work the best. Gets really boring after a few weeks after you bought it if you don't buy another game, well recommend the nintendo wii.

Lets be honest the wii is a phase.....
No-one actually buys the wii too play seriously...
It's a toy too show off really than actually play in my opinion....
I have one, The Graphics are terrible compared too my Xbox 360 or my mates PS3. The only fun game I have found is Sports which was a free-be when you get the wii.
No other game have actually personally interested me for about more than half an hour.
Sorry but people must be told and actually invest money into a serious console, not some silly battery chewing candy floss covered Wii, not recommended!

I had a similar experience - although it lasted a little longer than 15 hours. Its such a shame as they are great machines when they actually work...
