having read the specs of this and its predecessor (hyper hammer 5.2) I suspected this stick would help my groundies (I;m more of a serve and volley player) I wasnt wrong , it feels great from the baseline, and I was a lot more confident going for my shots as a result - It doesnt feel as head-heavy as the 6.2, but I did feel it was a bit slower to get around than my 5.0, even though the latter is heavier. Serves were fine, the head-heaviness helps get good mass behind the ball. It probably pays to string it fairly tight, as my strings were a little loose and I got a little long a couple of times but dont take that as gospel, I wouldnt want to lose the nice feel the stick has by going over-tight. Overall since I consider myself a good volleyer I would be happy to lose a little manoevrability to get the gains I did in consistency - this might become my main singles racquet!
