Ashley Furniture Bedroom Suite

My wife and I were looking to invest in a new bedroom set for our home, so we embarked on our shopping journey in early June. We instantly fell in love with the North Shore Canopy Bedroom Set by Ashley Furniture at our local Ashley Furniture Store, so we decided to go on-line for some price comparisons.

There were over 30 retailers that carried this product on-line, so naturally price gravitated us to FurniturePm.

We called FurniturePM and spoke with a sales person named Roman, who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Roman took our order and provided us with a tentative shipping date that was consistent with our actual delivery date 2 weeks later.

The furniture arrived on pallets, and the driver brought it into our home through the inside delivery service we paid for.

When we began to set-up the bedroom set that following weekend, we noticed that some of the hardware was missing. I immediately sent an email to support, and was contacted the following day with a parts order number with Ashley Furniture. The missing parts arrived within 2 days at no charge.

I am so thankful we found FurniturePM, its a hidden gem, truly a diamond in the ruff. We saved a bunch and received exactly what we had expected.

The sales service was such an unpleasant experience that it is difficult to not have a biased opinion on the quality of the furniture. I would say that it looks like high quality and has a price tag as though high quality, but the detail and structure is faux quality. Just because it takes their company 2 months to actually make the order doesn't mean that it didn't take about an hour for them to just 'assembly' the order.

I ordered a bedroom suite from Ashley Furniture of Raleigh three weeks ago. They called and changed my delivery date on Tuesday afternoon, the day before it was supposed to be delivered.

Then someone else called around 8:30pm to tell me that it actually came in, and they would be delivering it on Wednesday on schedule between 1 and 6. I took the day off so that I could wait for my furniture to be delivered. Around 6pm no one had showed up. I called the store and they said give them a little more time, and I was told that they had a lot of deliveries. I had already moved everything out of my room. My husband and my clothes were everywhere in our closet, and on the floor so that we would have room for everything to be setup.

8:50pm rolls round and still no delivery. I called the store once more, and they said that the truck was on its way, and to give them a little more time. 11pm, and still no delivery, so I called the office and left a message. The manager finally decided to call back at around 11am on Thursday morning to tell me that the furniture never arrived. She tried to say that she didn't know who called me, and I told her it came from their office. The same number she was calling me from.

She acted as if she didn't care. Then she said that they have removed my setup fee. I lost more than that by staying home waiting for their delivery truck. Now I have to wait until Saturday, even though I was going out of time, but once again I have to schedule around them for a delivery that should have been here last Wednesday.

I will never buy from them again!
