Stadium Arcandium

The Red hot Chili Peppers newest albums is Stadium Arcadium. This is the most recent of many hit albums the Red Hot Chili Peppers have made. The Chili Peppers (for short) have been considered many different genres and I think this albums can be considered along to same lines of being questionable to exactly what genre it is part of.
The band produced its first album in 1983. Since then they have produced several more albums. (none being as successful as stadium arcadium.) Almost as interesting about the band Is they many changes to personal and members. Anthony Kiedis and Flea are the only original members of the band in Stadium Arcadium.
This album was the best selling of the Chili Peppers. It is considered their most ambitious work. This album has a little bit of many sides of the band. There is also some newer type of style that hasn't been in previous albums.
There are many hit songs on this album, the most popular being "Dani Cailifornia". The song is about a woman who lived in the south and tries to go west to California. Another hit is "Tell Me Baby" which is about going to California and trying to become famous, and telling your story. Another song is "Snow (Hey Oh)". In this do song the guitar work is really impressive. Overall the songs are about life.
In my opinion this album is great. I can listen to pretty much any song on this album at any time. I can't say that there is a song that is not good or bad. I also like it because the musicis important but in many cases the lyrics are meaningful.

I bought this double album on the day of release, eagerly awaited, I wasn't disappointed.
I think out of the 2 discs I prefer disc 1, Jupiter. Not as good in my opinion as "Californication" but certainly different.
A lot of this album is very laid back, with a few jiggy tracks making for a great combination of sound. I have played this album a lot, only realised how much when my eight year old was singing "Hump De Bump" and "Poppa was a copper and Momma was a Hippy!" and then singing "torture Me....!?!"

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stadium Arcadium. Very very good, my favourite songs are: Dani California, Snow, Descretion Smile, Storm in a Teacup, She's only 18, Slow Cheetah, So Much I, and She Looks To Me. I like the rest as well, but those are the ones that stand out. I wouldn't be surprised if 5+ singles come from this.

Good album, but nothing whatsoever progressive from previous RHCP records. Instead they plug out more By The Way soft mainstream rock, when had they led people to believe Frusciante was going to cut loose and really display his skills in tandem with Flea, to create Funk Rock they were originally famous for. However, Stadium Arcadium is guaranteed to draw aclaim from zillions of new fans and rock the charts.
