From what I could see, the hotel at least from the outside looked the best of what I saw. It looked very clean and modern even from the outside which gave us a good impression upon arrival. The doors were opened from key cards rather than normal keys, which shows that the hotel is fairly modern.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

This was my first stay in Pas De La Casa, Andorra. Our accomodation was the aparthotel Alaska situated just 150 meters from the slopes. It has numerous supermarkets situated close by with everything you need for a self catering holiday, also there are several bars and restaurants within close proximity, of which the Perla Negra restaurant only charges 7% service charge where others charge 15%. Considering the closeness of the bars, noise was never a problem and we always had a good nights sleep.

We had a self-catering studio which was a good size for two people, with a small kitchenette with a microwave and a two ring electric hob, sink and fridge, although no kettle so we had to boil a pan for a cup of tea. Plus the only cups were for expresso so we had to buy a couple of mugs which was a little disappointing.

The aparthotel is a 4* and only two years old and is part of the same chain as the Hotel Himalaia and Hotel Magic Pas both of which were of a simalar standard although with the latter you don't pay extra for the spa, which cost us 10.40 euros per day at the Alaska. There is a bar situated on the lower floor with pool table and internet access and a small play area for toddlers.

The bathroom had both a bath and shower with toilet, sink and bidet and was very clean.

The bad points I've mentioned are minor and I would say that the Aparthotel Alsaka offers a very good standard of accommodation and can be done on a budget although i feel that having to pay extra for the spa was unnecessary.
