I own a 1992 Diesel Countryman Estate. Some people think it's a bit of a joke however I firmly believe its about the best value motoring you'll find in a log-legged, economical (over 50mpg)spacious family car. The 2.0 Perkins diesel has plenty of oomph, if a bit noisy and unrefined, will last forever and requires little maintenance. Build quality lets down the bodywork but spares are plentiful and cheap and everything is easy to work on.
