“Very useful”

I bought this buggy board for my daughter who needed when we had bit long walk with our son. I found it very useful as standing position is quite good and my daughter could hold push chair comfortably while standing on the buggy board. Besides this it has sitting position as well which further helps child to rest and it is not difficult to push it when one sitting at front and another sitting on buggy board. I did look around other buggy board befor buying but just standing position makes it with limited with choice compared to this one which also offer an option to sit down. Manouvering with this buggy board is not difficult but after little practice initialy it is comfortable to use. I would definitely recommend this product.

“completely useless”

I bought this for my 4 yr old so I wouldn't have the bulk of a double stroller. It was easy to attatch but the wheels buckled when she stood on it. She is average weight for her size. I tried to put my 2 yr old on it and had the same result. I tried to contact Litaf customer service. There is no phone number. Only an email form. I never got a response.

“don't like it!!”

i bought this product for my daughter to use as the double i had she was to big for it. So when i seen this product i thought i'd buy it and give it a go, i've had it for a few weeks now and im actually considering just getting a standard buggy board as i find this one a bit usless at times i think it only works on flat surfaces not on pavements that have driveways etc because it goes lop-sided and the wheels dont sit properly, sames as when i'm in shops i always have to give the wheel a kick to nudge the board back into place. I also think it makes the steering of the buggy harder and sometimes when im turning a corner it feels like my buggy is going to snap just cause of the board (and my buggy i quiet robust and my daughter is only 2 and really not that heavy!)So i personally wouldnt recommend it unless you can be bothered to keep giving it a knock into place or have strong (hulk) arms to push your buggy when on a lop-sided surface!!

After reading many reviews on this product i was aprehensive about buying it,but having seen the cost of others i thought i'd give it ago.so getting home i put my buggy up (mamu 1 by M&P),i followed the instructions and found it easy to assemble, especially as they include the screwdriver you need.I thought that the board stood away from the buggy alot bt having read more of the instructions i learnt that this can be altered so now the board is as close as possible to the buggy.after 10 mins of assembly my little girl sat on her seat and loved it.she can even face forward on it by putting her legs into the shopping basket this also allows me to put a blanket over her legs if its cold out.i find it easy to manouvre and walking is alot easier now i don't have to carry my little girl when she gets tired.Litaf seat to go is one of my best investments

If im honest , i must say that i find this Litaf Seat 2 Go Buggy Board extremely frustrating as mine constantly gets stuck...unless im walking in a completely straight line! See my bad points! Its hard to describe what it does but it just seems to lock up when you turn a corner, even a slight one and you end up doing wheelies... which my daughter finds hilarious!
To be fair, this has been great for the school run, especially when im running a bit late, but i dont have many twists and turns on my way there. I have 3 children and do not drive...a 5 year old, 2 1/2 year old and a 6 month old and I did not want a double buggy as my 2 year old is a good little walker so i got this as an alternative.
On a whole, its ok and has made my life a bit easier. Just be prepared for very annoying moments if you do invest in one!

I find it extremely hard to use and very annoying as the wheels aren,t big enough and if you get mud in the wheel thats even more annoying , i have given up with it as when you try to get off the bus on the school run it locks up, and you cant reverse off the bus,

I have had my seat2go for 2 years before I stopped using it. I found it very good to use and hardwearing. We walked miles and miles using it on the back of my chicco pram and it was great. One of the best things was that my son could sit down and when it was raining my pram cover would shelter him too.
The downside was that the stabiliser bar made a mess of the back of my pram, and that towards the end of its use, the wheels used to fall off when we went up a kerb.

I got mine 1 year ago now for my son and he loved it. We mainly used it for going to nursery and back witch it was okay for.
It is not good if you like to shop a lot as I found the wheels slipped on shop flooring and was really hard to push then the wheels buckled under, also for some reason it wouldn ' t go backwards without the wheels buckling. We have stopped using it now as I find when my son is on it the buggy gets pulled backwards and wants to tip.

The Litaf Seat 2 Go Buggy Board has been a real life saver for me. I have 2 daughters aged 20 months and 4. The eldest one was too big for the double buggy but still too little to walk far and I don't use a car very often. It's been ideal for walking to school when I'm in a rush or its raining. Couldn't have done without it!!

written by alagul on 15/03/2008

This buggy board is really unstable. it wobbles left and right and will not corner without one of the wheels buckling under and tipping the seat, My toddler hung on for dear life when we first tried this out! The board also places too much weight onto the back of the pushchair which could make the pushchair tip backwards even with a heavy child seated in the main pushchair. I think this would be especially a problem if the pushchair is a light weight or a three wheeler style. I managed to push the pushchair and buggy board up a slight incline in the shopping arcade but found it was only my strength preventing the whole pushchair and board tipping over. I attached it to my Red Kite three wheel pushchair. My toddler was really excited about trying it out but having tried it out once around our local shop arcade I have decided to never use it again.

written by JMS3 on 08/03/2008

I only used the seat on one short journey which was the school run to the road parallel to where we live. It took me longer than usual to get there and just a few paces down the road, I could tell my upper back was really feeling the strain of bending forward so much to reach the pushchair handles. I must have looked rather odd to the passing traffic too as I was in such a bent over position! I didn't have time to go home and revert to my double pushchair (which I also have a problem with and which was my reason for buying this in the first place!!) so I persevered. It was clear that the seat was totally incompatible with my McLaren buggy, although my 2 year old daughter did think the ride was great fun! I returned it to Tescos, successfully, eventually, after quite a battle. Tescos were initially refusing to give me a refund as I was unable to completely disassemble it and put it back in its box. I had taken it apart as much as possible and put everything back in the box very neatly, but once you put the wheels on, they won't come off again which means you can't also remove the lower step. Also, once the "bracing" bar has been put on, it is very difficult, if not impossible to take off again. They only agreed to a refund once I started quoting the phrase "... not suitable for purpose...". I definitely would not recommend this to anyone unless you have adjustable handles and unless you can afford to pay out for something for which you may be unable to get a refund.

written by janetxmas on 05/03/2008

I would only recommend this board if the others won't fit your pushchair, but it's a million times more convienient than a double buggy or having your toddler running around on the high street. Put up with the time it takes to set up each time and you'll more than make up the time when out and about. It took me a couple of weeks to really get to grips with setting it up properly and until then it seemed really rickety and rubbish, but I love it now.

written by cali79 on 07/11/2007

I contacted the shop when looking for a buggy board to fit my pram. I was told that this was the best model for my bebecar! Have "used" it once and given up. I am unable to go in anything other than a straight line, on level surfaces only. And due to the length of the board, found myself leaning over my toddler to try and push my pram. It took me 45 minutes to get to my local shop, which had previously been a 15 min walk and once there, I had to abandon pram with new baby and toddler as unable to move pram in shop aisles. Absolute waste of the £53 I was charged for this item.

This board was expensive. I bought it with a single buggy as a lighter alternative to my big double pushchair, so I could use public transport more easily. Within 1/2 hour I realised I had made a big mistake. Apart from the problems I have already mentioned it did not fulfill my initial needs for getting onto buses more easily. How bad do I feel about buying this product?? I really wish I hadn't, especially for the price! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

“I love my Litaf Seat 2 Go Buggy Board. I only have 17...”

★★★★★

written by ProfessorYaffle on 12/10/2007

I love my Litaf Seat 2 Go Buggy Board. I only have 17 months between my two children, and I didn't want to buy a new pushchair. My eldest was walking at 12 months, but was still too little to walk any distance. For the first 7 or 8 months I managed with a pushchair and baby carrier, but I needed something else when the little one got too heavy. This saved me from having to buy a new pushchair. Cheaper than an actual "Buggy Board", with the advantage that your child can sit down if desired. Unlike the other reviewers I found it easy to put together (but then I am a flat pack veteran). It is essentially in two pieces: the step part - which once put together doesn't come apart - and the two "arms" (which attach to the pushchair to allow you attach the step part) - in various shapes/sizes to fit to different pushchair chassis. Mine is a Pliko with a square tube chassis. The other attachments are for a round tube chassis of different diameters. It detaches easily from the pushchair, and the "arms" that fit to the pushchair, fold down so they don't stick out, so it doesn't stop me from folding my pushchair down. I just wish that the step part would fold down on itself (without compromising safety - obviously) so that - for example - when we go to playgroup, I could detach the step from the pushchair, fold it down and stash it in the underneath shopping basket. Or if I needed to fold the pushchair down altogether (for going on a bus or train, for example, or storage at home) I could slip it into the cosy-toes. It doesn't, and I think that is its major disadvantage. My eldest prefers to walk, but if we're in a hurry or on a main road I make her get on it. She does like to stand on the top part though (which it is not designed for) so that she can see over the top. Also, she fell off it once. We were crossing a road, she was trying to stand up (from sitting) and I set off to cross the road. The momentum threw her forwards (backwards from the direction we were going) and she fell off head first. Again, this is not a fault of the board, if she had been sitting, as intended, it would not have happened, but just something to watch out for. Kids will be kids and some do fidget more than others, and if it happened to mine, it could quite easily happen to someone else.

All-in-all a top product. We have definitely had our money's worth.

written by cerimichelle on 11/07/2007

The Litaf Seat 2 Go Buggy Board doesn't fit the buggy I have, so it was a waste of time. It took me ages to understand the instructions, which I think should say what buggies it does and doesn't fit, instead of "fits most pushchairs and prams", so I am not happy with that; even the website doesn't give information on what buggies it fits. Hopefully I will have good comments on the buggy board that I have just ordered.

I previously had a standard single buggy board but found that when my toddler was exhausted, she wanted to sit down. She tried sitting on it but got her fingers caught in the wheels so I quickly bought the Litaf Seat 2 Go Buggy Board. I found it really easy to fit to my Maclaren Stroller. My daughter really enjoys using it, either standing or sitting. You do need long arms to push the stroller with this attached, but I found that with the buggy board too.

“The instructions for the Go Buggy Board were a little...”

★☆☆☆☆

written by tomassi on 12/03/2006

The instructions for the Go Buggy Board were a little difficult as the product had different parts for different pram shapes, the instructions were abit heavy i.e. 'if K does not fit D then replace with L unless P was fitted instead of K' (not direct quote but you get the idea). There was only one fitting that would fit the chassis of my Chicco pram and after lots of messing about had to place ducktape underneath it to make it fit as securely as possible.
On using the buggy board my son could only stand and not sit as my new born baby who is in the pram is obviously in the reclined position, so if my son was to sit he would have to lean forward as pram is sticking out at the back.
If you have the Buggy Board in a position where toddler can sit, while you are pushing pram it just bruises your shins as it sticks to far out.
The wheels of the Buggy Board don't move with pram wheels making it feel like dodgy shopping trolley.
Also the instructions state that when going up and down kerbs the child on Buggy Board has to get off, which I find a bit inpractical.
You can remove buggyboard if you don't need it, but I found that when trying to put Buggy Board back on and this is usually in car park up town when it is raining and I want to hurry up, that you have to mess about and you get one side on then the other side won't go on and jams, so you have to take it out and start again and this can go on for quite a few minutes!
Am currently trying to get on Litaf website and get advice on how to correctly fit the buggyboard because surely it must be the way I have fitted it and am not using it properly, I hope so!

I finally got through to Litaf, and there was an extra piece I should have been using (rather than the duct tape!), but the product was still the same, so no point in me adding this really!
