Good Points
Great results from the GHD's. You get that salon look.
Bad Points
Life span is very poor. My GHD straighteners were extremely well looked after. I always put them away in my GHD carry case after using them, and I never took them out of the house, yet they stopped working. This is the third set I have had in the space of 3 and half years, and they have all broke for no reason. I expected a long life span because of the cost of them, but I am truly disappointed. I wrote an email to GHD complaining, and they have been in no rush to contact me, so therefore I think their customer service is very poor too.
General Comments
I now have a set of Phillips TRESseme straighteners. These have been well thought about. They have an adjustable temperature control, a lock to keep the straighteners closed after use, and a heat resistant plastic sleeve which slips onto the straighteners for storage and protection. I bought them from Boots at a fraction of the cost (just 29.99.) of the 3.1B GHD Salon Straighteners.

Did you find the Phillips TRESseme straighteners worked just as well as the GHD's?
<br/>No use if they have been 'well thought out' but don't do the same outstanding job as the GHD's do.
