Good Points
Easy to use and free
Bad Points
Some of the trojans weren't deleted in spite of being detected, after switching to kasper, new stuff found about 16 adwares and trojans, no support after enquiry
General Comments
Avast antivirus is good for the beginning because its free, would recommend to use something better.

I disagree with this review because... The guy has no idea what he's talking about. You can remove any known virus using the bootscan option which comes as default. No other product does a pre-windows boot scan! Only avast. I've used the home and pro versions and the support is excellent.

Good comments and Avast not finding trojans is exactly what happened with me too! Nice to know it's not just me.
