Good Points
Robust
Easy to use with the latest versions of windows
Bad Points
Some cards are inserted with terminals uppermost, which is counter-intuitive.
General Comments
After two previous card readers proved flimsy and failed quickly, this model - the CTR8ACPU2 from Crucial - is more like it. Theses devices are not anything to get excited about, as they are little more than sockets with some basic read/write and ID circuitry, but they are expected to work without fuss and this one does.
Crucial are memory specialists, and AFAIK, only sell on-line.
It's £7.99 + delivery and VAT.
