Good Points
Very thin, Stylish, Great features, Better Battery, Great Daylight Camera
Bad Points
Camera still slow, slower Java than previous models. Video playback not as good as previous models.
General Comments
The Samsung D900 looks great, keypad feels great, and the screen is brilliant. The camera is spot on in daylight conditions and amazing quality for a mobile phone. Comes with all the usual features and EDGE is very useful when using phone as a modem. The battery also lasts longer than the D600 did.
The downsides are all credited to one issue - the processor in this phone is not as fast as in the D600, meaning the camera takes longer to focus and save photos. Java applications are slightly slower and video playback is not as crisp as the D600 was, but still very good.
Overall for the size of the phone, the small problems can be ignored. Honestly the best phone I've ever had.

As you said that you have previously had the D600 (the phone i have now) could you let me know what the mp3 player is like? Just that on the D600 if you want to play mp3s and you get a message then you have to come out of the mp3 player screen (which turns off music) to read the message, then go back in and start again. Something which really bugged me. If you could let me know as my contract is up for renewal in early january and am looking at the D900 as a possibility. Thanks!

The battery life of the Samsung D900 mobile phone is poor!

Hi, its basicly the same, although, you can now read messages etc while lsitening to music - but only if you are listening to a playlist, you still have to shut it down if listening to a single track. Also just a tip, for full screen mode while watching a video press 1!
