They can smell of damp and can be overly protective(but remember they were breed to guard sheep)

General Comments
The Hungarian Puli have beautiful hair and different personalities. I have two a black three year old male and an apricot two year old female. The black one is mine and I have had him for two years. From the moment I saw him I fell him love, he is so loyal so smart and so adaptable he understands me. But this dog is not for everyone it suits different people. They are wary of strangers so training is required from the beginning. At the beginning my male was overly protective of me attacking everyone near me even my little brother. If not washed regularly and dried properly you do get a damp smell. The washing and drying overall takes around nine hours to do two properly.
