Good Points
Stunning rooms and communal areas. Good choice of restaurants but...
Bad Points
Availability of Restaurants. Local construction work.
General Comments
Royal Mirage, The One And Only:
If you don't reserve a table at least 24 hours in advance, you'll struggle to get into the restaurant of your choice.
Like much of the coast, there is no getting away from the construction work for the "Palm" being built in the ocean (and this is a 24 hour operation!)
The Royal Mirage appears to be very family-friendly. Good if you've got children and enjoy arranged activities such a pool volleyball; Not so good if you're wanting a quiet / romantic break.
This was our 1st visit to Dubai, so don't know how the Royal Mirage compares to others. But, all in all, very impressed.
