Good Points
Picture quality of recordings excellent. Splendid features such as animated thumbnails for easily retrieving recordings.

Bad Points
20s delay after pressing STOP. Disc recording capacity not great on higher quality modes.

General Comments
The JVC HM-VDR10 comes highly recommended, as the record quality is much better than VHS. It is a little disappointing that you have to drop the quality to "slighty blurred" LP mode in order to record 4 hours to disk. Lots of nice features to play with, though.
