Good Points
Entertaining and informative guide, beautiful scenery, lovely 'additional touches'.
Bad Points
Possibly not suitable for very young children as there is a lot of sitting very still and quiet and just looking.
General Comments
I can't think of anything to say against the Kenmare Seafari. Everything had been thought of, right down to binoculars for watching the wildlife from a distance and woollen blankets to huddle up in if the weather was chilly on the water.
It did get a bit cold, but on the way back to port another treat as we were warmed by a mug of hot tea or coffee with a tot of rum for anybody who was interested and all the biscuits we could eat.
The skipper was clearly so knowledgeable and passionate about the area and its wildlife that it was impossible to not care yourself.
Visitors may find it difficult to find the port in Kenmare, but simply follow one of the main streets up hill away from the square and turn left at the top. The Seafari is signposted from this road. Visitors should book for their cruise; a phone number is displayed at the harbour or on one of their leaflets. Do go, it's well worth it.
