Good Points
I brought my sony dvd player back in 2003, and it still looks good even with my new 32" lcd tv, the sound is fantastic and this machine in nearly 5 years has never given me a days grief, and this includes moving home 12 times in as many years.
i did have a sony tv but brought a new one to move with the times, yet as for the dvd player will never get rid till it goes pop.
it has had excessive use in all its years as i am a film buff, and not once has the picture or sound quality ever let me down,

Bad Points
ummmm, on the side of the remote is a little orange switch for tv or dvd control, this little switch looks out of place, so there you go, a very bad point indeed.

General Comments
My overall review of the Sony DAV-SA30 is that when new i paid a fair price, and it was money well spent, if you find one for sale that works, buy it, you will not be disappointed, as before, the picture quality is mint, the sound quality is spot on, and when its not being a dvd player, or being used to run the sound for my ps2, it make a great stereo and radio.

the speakers are perfect in size, and the machine looks stunning to this day.
