“I got the Compaq iPAQ 3970 Pocket PC to partner with...”

Written on: 02/09/2002 by Paul. (1 review written)

Good Points
64Mb RAM + Storage card supplied.

Bad Points
Programs remain open when you close the program window, consuming memory. This isnt really a bad point, more of a preference on my part to want to know what is in memory.

General Comments
I got the Compaq iPAQ 3970 Pocket PC to partner with the Ericsson T39 using Blue Tooth. The supplied apps are excellent. I am not quite used to the Pocket PC transcriber yet but getting better. The tasks are great to have on the move. I tried various telnet programs without success until Pocket TTY which worked straight off.

I'd like to get it on GPRS but the price plan is very expensive.

Nice piece of kit.
