Argassi, Commodore Hotel

We had a nice room overlooking the pool and the ocean, the facilities in the rooms were basic and could do with being upgraded. However there is a very steep hill, my husband and sister struggled with it every day, we also had a toddler to push up with us. You could not just pop out for a wander, you had to plan your return around climbing the hill in hot weather.The Argassi hotel is mainly fully inclusive guests and is geared around them. We ended up not using any of the hotel facilities, and went to another hotel pool (Contessa) which we found much better.

I loved this place so much I'm definitely going back next year! I came back yesterday and was so upset to leave it. The whole country is so beautiful, and the people are all friendly and chatty. I'm already saving up to go back! The Commodore Hotel in Zakynthos is great.

We were on the main road, so it was noisy with all the lorries going past at all hours of the morning, but after a little while (about 2 or 3 days) you get used to it and eat and sleep through most of it.
