Good Points
Good loops and nice use of guitar and vocal effects. The production on this album is very creative.

Bad Points
Too much sampling and synths. Fans get rather disappointed when they expect to hear the same in a live performance.

General Comments
Static-X, Machine: I'm not into Nu metal at all. As a 1980's heavy metal fan you find this type of music less technical. But "Machine" is different. It's not as good as what you get from Fear Factory (Although Wayne Static is a very bright musician and producer) but it's what every Metal fan would enjoy. It even made me buy "Between....Beneath...Beyond" which of course, I found an absolute waste of money.

"Machine" is probably the best Static-X will ever do.
