Enid Blyton, The Secret Island is a VERY exciting...”

Bad Points
I can't really think of any bad points. If you have an older edition of this book there has been some controversy over the use of some of Enid's words, (they are considered inappropriate in this day and age) but in the newer editions the words have been changed. If you're not one for reading a series of books, then don't read this one! After the first book (The Secret Island) you will be hooked and will want to read them all! There are a few more such as (The Secret of Spiggy Holes)

General Comments
Enid Blyton, The Secret Island is a VERY exciting book. I haven't read it for many years, but i remember reading it as a child and i loved it (put it this way it never stayed in the library for long.) It's great for all ages, I've just bought another copy and I am about to read it again. It is full of adventure and has you wanting to turn the page to find out more, I just couldn't get enough. Enid Blyton, a very talented writer creates the characters and by the end of the story you feel like you've known them forever. Overall this book is a really good book, an enjoyable book, which many people have said to me. I loved reading it as a child, full of adventure and mystery. LOVED IT.
