Have owned the Hotpoint BWM129 for 5 years now and have not had a fault in all that time. OK it's not a Miele but we got ours free when we bought a kitchen so our expectations were realistic.

As I say, no faults or breakdowns, it's not the most exotic of machines but it does the basics. My only issue is that we are getting a bit of a smell from the door seal as I was not aware that you really need to do a monthly service wash with soda crystals in an empty drum in order to keep the mold at bay. So I may replace the door gasket.

I know people usually leave reviews because they are unhappy with a product so I thought I would balance it out a bit.
