“I went to pleasure beach on Tuesday 27th July. I read...”

Written on: 31/07/2010

I went to pleasure beach on Tuesday 27th July. I read online that the prices for a wristband (unlimited riding all day) was £20, but when i arrived at the pleasure beach, i found out it was actually £30. Also, the grand national was closed, Roller coaster and Space invader 2. Every other ride was working fine. I arrived at the pleasure beach at around 11.30, and it was open till 8pm, so plenty of time. At many theme parks across Britain, the queuing for rides is usually quite long, but its completely different at Blackpool. I went on 30-40 rides throughout the day. The Pepsi max big one had about 30 minutes que as they only had one train going, but it was worth it. Rides such as, Irn Bru, Bling, Avalanche were only 2-5 minutes. The Infusion was around a 10 minute wait, and it was absoulutly fantastic. As for eating, there are plenty of restaurant to eat, but if i was you, i would stick to burger king, as many other resterants were a rip off. Dont even consider entering the slush puppy store, around £4 for a terrible slush puppy!!. Overall, i enjoyed my day, and i would recommend it over any other theme park in Britain, Blackpool Pleasure Beach is Still Number 1 !
