“This is the worst SLR camera that Canon ever made, but...”

Written on: 28/07/2003 by Jonathan. (1 review written)

Good Points
Its a Canon, it accepts FD lenses, it looks
similar to the (superior) T70. It uses AA batteries.

Bad Points
Specification is only slightly better than an
instamatic, cannot select shutter speeds, the sound of the motordrive is irritating, its heavy, door to battery compartment is flimsy, meter can't be set higher than 1600 ASA, I can't find anyone naive enough to buy it off me!

General Comments
This is the worst SLR camera that Canon ever made, but if you like Canon cameras and you are looking for a new paper weight, then this is for you! God only knows why the T50 won Japan's Good Design Grand Prize in 1983. The T70 and T90 models are lightyears better.
