Good Points
Weather was fabulous, as was the whole hotel complex. Whilst we were there Oct 2002, the staff were falling over themselves to be of assistance, our room was cleaned morning and afternoon, great attention to detail. No pressure to get involved with the many activities going on. Just a fabulous fun sun burn yer bum holiday. Great choice of food, gym, water sports (incl scuba), local 'safari' trips - local guides were hilarious and tried so hard to let you enjoy yourself.Beach security excellent. Would you argue with 6 foot gaurds with 2 foot machettes? Went through TVtravelshop - good price. Wanna go back.

Bad Points
The journey from La Romana airport to the hotel complex (in quite a new coach) was less than comfortable. Road surface like a Safari trip through Beirut. A few queasy travellers!
Unfortunately, the complex suffers from a high infestation of mozzies - having said that, the complex staff were out morning noon and night - spraying the local forna and grass areas with insect killer which did help.

General Comments
Temperatures averaged 30'at the Punta Cana Sirenis Cocotal.Customer service was great - absolutely everyone had a smiley face all day long.

Food and drink were consumed by the bucket load, and there was so much choice.

For the same price as an all inclusive to Teneriffe - Dominican would be my choice anytime
