Fameo is (now?) run by thieves. Ordered a ring from them, paid them by bank transfer (only option they allowed at the time!) and waited to receive my ring.

It's now six months later and not only have I not heard anything but I can't contact them! Their address is a PO box and no-one answers the phone.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I bought a jewellery set from Fameo which I wanted to order in yellow gold with rubies instead of sapphires and the lady I spoke with was very helpful and could do what I wanted within a certain timeframe. I didn ' t mind waiting another week to get the exact set I wanted. Well worth the wait, as it was perfect.

It was my second purchase from Fameo www.fameo.co.uk and I want to praise the people at Fameo for their amazing efficiency, patience and helpfulness. Got all my questions answered very quickly with a clear and detailed explanation. Sapphire pendant was good value for the money and delivery was on time, even item availability was not in a real time.

Even though the availability is few weeks, don't be scared as you are not going to be disappointed in product. Highly recommended.

I got hint of Fameo via my fiance through her friend. I was told Fameo sold choice designer jewellery at reasonable prices. Although prices are little too high for my wallet, jewellery descriptions and in depth specifications of all gemstones and diamonds used, sealed the deal. Delivery was slow ( 3 weeks), but it was worth to wait.

I stumbled upon Fameo today after searching for some jewellery sites on the net and I was amazed about the quality of presentation it displayed. Although they don't carry many designs (hope they are adding more by the day). Their collection is really awesome! It took me few clicks to find what I wanted and the checkout process was so easy. It reminded me of the old Amazon.com days where checkout was so simple and straight forward. After selecting a billing address and almost clicking on the last button to confirm the order, I realized that the billing address was not the one I wanted to have. I simply pressed the return button over and over till i got the initial screen to choose an address and I picked the right one. Then i clicked next till I got the the final page were I was at and all data was preserved and ready for me to simply submit! Really the whole shopping experience was unforgettable. Hope other sites will go to simplicity for the sake of good customer shopping experience. Keep on Fameo!
