Webferret Is Useless
Webferret used to be an essential tool but the latest version, which doesn't search the internet and gives you no results for most search terms is totally useless.
Ferretsoft Sold A Powerpack That Included Email Fe
Ferretsoft sold a Powerpack that included email ferret, info ferret, phone ferret, news ferret, irc ferret. These programs no longer work and they did not offer refund for unsupported, useless programs. Makes you wonder whether or not they'll drop webferret pro and run with the cash.
I've found some connection from their website to McAffee and I have no idea if they have purchased ferretsoft. I do know that I bought Net Detective from one company which was absorbed by McAffee and found that they chose to do little to support that $50 program. I am not pleased at all.

webferret is very easy to use and brings instant results i can't fault it.
Easiest way to find ANYTHING is Webferret.
I purchased the full package & paid for it and DO NOT CARE that the rest of it is not supported.
I get hundreds of hits on a search. AND just move the cursor over it & a pop-up box gives me a few lines about each site.
Beware Ferretsoft. I bought the full package of all their search engines for $49.95 and they decided to forgo supporting all but webferret. If I had known they were going to drop the others, I would have only purchased the one for a lot less money.

I have used it for about 4 years for web searches. An alternative to Webferret is Copernic 2000 which is just as good.
