poor after sales service

I recently moved from the UK to South Africa and Excess International Movers packed and moved all my belongings. The packing crew on both sides were very friendly, professional and efficient at their jobs. With any move as big as a full relocation to another country I would expect some mishaps. I did however think it would be good to inform the company of these mishaps as if it was my company I would like to know what my people do when out on a job. There was some damage to an internal wall, hole in one of the doors and also some permanent marker on the curtains. When I reported this I was told that all this must have been done before they arrived as the foreman reported back to the office that no damage was done while on this job! They said that I was lying and they would never damage any property! What a crock of ....! I did not even want any compensation as I repaired everything myself. I would have expected a "sorry, sir", but no such luck. I would never recommend this company to anybody, which is a pity as the loading teams were excellent.
